One of the Garvey sisters is getting married based on the Bad Sisters season 2 first-look images!
As a devoted fan of Bad Sisters, I can’t help but feel like these poor Garvey sisters just can’t catch a break! Two years have passed since John Paul’s demise and it seems they’ve found some semblance of happiness, with Grace even getting hitched in the upcoming season. But alas, life has a funny way of throwing us curveballs when we least expect them.
Will the Garvey sisters finally find some relief in the second season of “Bad Sisters”? Despite appearing to have led a peaceful existence for the past two years since John Paul’s passing, it appears that the incident may resurface and cause them trouble once again. However, before things take a turn, there is still a hint of joy left to be experienced!
Who do you think is getting married? None other than Grace! Apple TV+ has unveiled some initial shots from season 2, set to debut on Wednesday, November 13. In several of these images, we find Grace radiating beauty in a white gown and sporting an ear-to-ear grin. Given all she’s been through, it’s wonderful to see her smiling. Here’s hoping that this time, she’s found a genuine gentleman.
According to Vanity Fair, it seems that Grace is going to marry a kind and supportive man named Ian, played by Owen McDonnell. That’s wonderful news! However, the tranquility for the Garvey sisters might not last forever. As the plot unfolds, a police discovery regarding John Paul’s death brings them under scrutiny once again. This is unfortunate. A glimpse of this tension is shown with the introduction of Thaddea Graham as detective Una Houlihan and Barry Ward as her superior Fergal Loftus.
In the upcoming season 2 of Bad Sisters, we’ll see a fresh addition to the cast – Fiona Shaw portraying Angelica, Roger’s meddlesome sister who seems to have a knack for annoying the sisters even more than they already are. Given her role as a nosy church lady, this shouldn’t come as a surprise, especially considering their past with John Paul. As a reminder, Roger played a significant part in helping Grace conceal what truly transpired on the day John Paul met his demise. Therefore, if the police reopen the case regarding John Paul’s death, Roger might find himself in hot water too.
Regardless of the hurdles that lie ahead, I’m confident these troublesome sisters will navigate through them unitedly! I must say, I’m genuinely thrilled to discover what unfolds next in their lives and within this captivating narrative. The series excels at blending darkness with humor so seamlessly, making each comedic moment land perfectly. Despite the addition of several new cast members for season 2, rest assured that all the Garvey sisters are here to stay – Sharon Horgan as Eva, Anne-Marie Duff as Grace, Eva Birthistle as Ursula, Sarah Greene as Bibi and Eve Hewson as Becka! Take a peek at the additional first-look images below.
Bad Sisters season 2 premieres Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024 with the first two episodes on Apple TV+.
