Eminem SOBS seeing daughter Hailie Jade in her wedding dress… as he’s set to be a grandfather
As a child of a legendary rapper like Eminem, Hailie Scott Mathers has grown up with a unique perspective on life. Her recent wedding to Evan McClintock was a beautiful celebration filled with joy and love, but it’s impossible not to notice the occasional tear in her eyes when she listens to some of her father’s songs.
In a heart-wrenching scene in his “Temporary” music video, released on Thursday, Eminem was overcome with emotion upon seeing his daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, adorned in her wedding gown for the very first time.
51-year-old rap artist without Me (name not specified) shared some exciting news – he’ll become a grandpa soon! This announcement comes alongside his daughter, Hailie Jade (age 28), who is expecting her first child. A brief snippet from the clip revealed this happy news.
Back in May this year, the media figure got married to Evan McClintock. They announced their happy union on social media platforms at that time.
The music video features Marshall Bruce Mathers III (better known as Eminem), who enters a room on his daughter Hailie’s wedding day, taking his first look at her in a strapless, white wedding dress adorned with a delicate veil.
At the wedding, the father, attired in a timeless black suit, strode with pride towards his daughter, taking off his sunglasses to offer her a tender embrace filled with love.
Hailie wore a broad grin, chatting briefly with the musician, who then stopped and covered his mouth momentarily.
His shoulders began to move up and down as he let out a few sobs while looking at his daughter.
Following a brief pause, Eminem moved ahead, and the father-daughter pair shared another heartwarming hug before he escorted her towards the altar.
Inside the room, Hailie was spotted giving the rapper a gift bag, which he then took out a card from, appearing to be penned by her.
Still emotional, the Lose Yourself hitmaker began to read the card as she stood close by with a smile on her face before they hugged once again.
At the outdoor wedding reception, Eminem shared a dance with Hailie, surrounded by the celebrating crowd.
One said, “Eminem left millions of fathers with tears streaming down their faces,” and another expressed, “Watching Eminem cry was the most relatable thing I’ve ever witnessed.
Fan exclaimed: ‘The most challenging rap artist out there is shedding tears. I too am tearing up right now.’
One person said, ‘There’s nothing more painful than watching Eminem cry,’ while another wrote, ‘Who’s crying along with me?’ (both conveying a sense of empathy towards Eminem)
Throughout the music video, throwback clips of his daughter from over the years were also played.
Near the conclusion, the rapper divulged an exhilarating instance where Hailie announced she was expecting her initial child.
As he lounged on the deck, his granddaughter passed him a blue top, revealing the words ‘grandpa’ written in white on the back and the number ‘1’ too.
The star held a shocked expression on his face as she also handed over a sonogram which he showed the camera.
Back in May, Hailie confirmed on Instagram that she had tied the knot with Evan McClintock.
At the Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek, Michigan, it was reported by TMZ that the pair exchanged their wedding vows.
Hailie and Evan got married with just their nearest and dearest present, as they opted for a more intimate, smaller-scale wedding ceremony.
Instead of saying “Waking up a wife this week,” she could have written something like, “Posting some pictures from our special week, I am now happily married.” This maintains the same meaning but is rephrased in a more natural and easier-to-understand manner.

On his recently released album, “The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace)”, you can find a temporary collaboration with Skylar Grey. This album became available in July of the current year.
In August, a couple of months back, Hailie shared on the Just A Little Shady podcast that certain songs by her father can stir up strong emotions within her.
Regarding the song “Somebody Save Me” featuring Jelly Roll, Hailie confessed that she has watched the music video, but expressed doubts about whether she could watch it again, according to Page Six.
In the past, Eminem has fought against addiction, and he’s a father to more than just Hailie; he also has daughters named Alaina (age 31) and Stevie (age 22).
Every single time I listen to it, I cannot help but tear up. As for those two songs, ‘Temporary’ in particular, I believe I let out audible sobs for both, but my emotions were particularly strong for ‘Temporary’.
Reflecting on the video and hearing the songs now, it strikes me that despite the challenges I faced, my parents did an exceptional job raising me, as I never fully grasped just how difficult things were for us.
She commented, ‘Reflecting on it now as a grown-up, it’s truly terrifying to consider. I believe that’s why I get emotional so often, simply by contemplating that it could have turned out differently.’
It seems clear that the song is trying to convey this message, yet if you’ve ever gone through the pain of losing an addict or a loved one, my heart goes out to you.
Some of the rapper’s older songs also are hard for Hailie to listen to, including Mockingbird.
During the podcast, the media figure shared, “Nowadays, I just can’t seem to listen to [Mockingngbird] without tearing up.
As I grow older, I find myself less able to enjoy listening to songs. However, watching old family videos still brings me joy, just not when they’re accompanied by music.
