As a lifestyle expert with extensive experience in the world of reality television, I find it fascinating to witness the transformations that contestants undergo during their time on these shows. The story of Kylie Baker and her partner Brad from The Block is no exception.

The Block star Kylie Baker is instantly recognisable with her shock of fluorescent green hair.

But the reality star has sported a litany of looks before her turn on the show.

On the program this week, old photos were shown that made it hard to recognize Kylie’s long-time companion, Brad, as he appeared quite different from his current self.

On Wednesday, it was noticed that Kylie and Brad seemed to blend in seamlessly with their fellow contestants Courtney, Grant, Mimi, and Christian during their leisure time together. This chameleon-like quality of theirs became apparent.

In a convivial setting, they were sharing tales over glasses of wine, when suddenly, Kylie disclosed that it was she who proposed in their partnership.

Grant chuckled and said, “Well, when I heard it, I had no doubt. It seemed pretty predictable to me.” To this, Brad agreed, saying, “Yes, it’s accurate.

‘He could not have said no, at the time,’ Kylie laughed.

As the team talked about Kylie and Brad’s unusual marriage proposal, the show’s creators played a series of clips showing the couple from previous years instead.

Kylie sported a hairstyle that was starkly different from her vibrant green bob, as she flaunted various hues such as deep crimson and jet-black, showcasing her versatility in hair colors.

At various times in her life Kylie also sported long blonde tresses.

Brad, too, looked unrecognisable in one picture that showed him with sandy blonde hair.

Additionally, he took the time to let his hair grow long, and one picture captured Brad giving Kylie a kiss as his cascading, curly tresses hung below his shoulders.

Courtney enthusiastically remarked, “I love long hair!” as she looked at the old photo, and Mimi chimed in, “He’s just adorable!

In simple terms, it was disclosed by Daily Mail Australia in September that Kylie and Brad are planning a sudden departure from the Channel Nine show.

The news comes just weeks after it was confirmed Jesse Maguire and Paige Beechey from the Blue Team will throw down their shovels in week five and walk off-site for good.

According to a member of the production crew, Kylie became extremely upset at the close of week 12 and abruptly left the filming location.

She outright declined to carry on with filming, and they failed to appear during week 13 to complete the shared area they were working on together.

They went on to say, “I have absolutely no idea how the creators will manage to portray this on-screen or how they’ll cut around it.

Following an inside source, it was stated that certain disagreements between Kylie and Brad were somewhat awkward and juvenile, causing concern due to their behavior towards each other.

According to the source, Kylie and Brad might feel uneasy rewatching the show, given their distinctive manner of communicating with one another.
