Jackie, who is 49 years old, confessed during the recent installment of their shared podcast, Her Best Life Podcast, which they host together with her good friend Gemma O’Neill.
In the midst of their conversation about romantic connections, Jackie revealed an incident where Gemma had a one-night stand during their vacation in Greece.
Gemma confessed that she was considering going on a date since it’s been quite some time since she experienced any romantic interaction,” Jackie challenged, questioning the truth of her statement.
‘Define ages,’ Jackie replied. ‘There was Greece…the one night stand.’
A clearly shocked Gemma replied with ‘That was not to be said on a podcast.’
As a truthful individual, I, Gemma, aged 41, openly shared about my recent unexpected encounter – my very first one-night stand experience. This disclosure, in turn, prompted Jackie to confess that she too had engaged in a casual, string-free romantic episode.
Jackie confessed, with a hint of shyness, that she had recently experienced her very first one-night stand, which was quite recent.
Despite Gemma betraying Jackie about her secretive rendezvous with an unidentified man during the Greek vacation, their friendship persisted without interruption.
If you plan to betray me in Greece, I’ll do the same to you. You see, while I was talking to someone, you were kissing a man at the beach. That’s what she communicated.
Jackie affirmed Gemma’s statement, mentioning that she chose to pursue a romantic experience due to her feelings of boredom.
Jackie described the situation as follows: “We’re at a well-known club in Mykonos, called Scorpios. Gemma seems to be quite taken with this guy she’s chatting with – it’s like they’ve formed an instant connection and are completely engrossed in their conversation.
I found myself standing there feeling somewhat out of place, not knowing anyone else around. In that moment, I thought, ‘Oh dear, I’m bored now. What on earth should I do next?’
Jackie added it did not take too long for her to find a suitable suitor to help her ‘kill time’.
She mentioned, chuckling, “I was looking for someone to share a kiss with, and I came across an Israeli accountant.
‘He was really cute, so I pashed him. I killed time, but I didn’t sleep with him or anything.’
Gemma said the scene made her feel like she was a teenager again.
She jokingly commented, “For a second there, it seemed like we were back at our high school dance, both of us dancing closely with our respective partners.
Jackie recently opened up about her sex life following her split from her ex-husband Lee Henderson.
On her podcast, Jackie openly discussed how the thought of having intimacy again following her divorce from Lee in 2018 was a bit daunting.
Jackie expressed that the concept of having sex seemed overwhelming, massive, and petrifying. It was as if she was experiencing it for the very first time once more.
‘I thought “how am I going to do this since it’s been so long since I have been with someone new?”‘
Instead, Jackie continued by expressing that having sex was “quite unexpectedly, not scary in the least,” and as a result, she now carries herself with greater self-assurance.
She shared that as she’s grown older, she’s developed a greater sense of self-assurance and comfort with her body. Consequently, she finds that her experiences with intimacy are significantly enhanced due to this newfound confidence.
