As a dedicated music fan who has spent countless hours queuing for tickets, only to be left empty-handed due to dynamic pricing and overwhelming demand, I am thrilled with Oasis’ decision to ditch this controversial practice for their North America tour. The memories of fans like me, who were left feeling frustrated and disappointed during the UK and Ireland tours, are still fresh in my mind.

The British rock band Oasis has unveiled plans for an additional four concerts during their reunion tour, owing to overwhelming fan interest. These performances are scheduled in Toronto, East Rutherford, Los Angeles, and Mexico City.

On their official Instagram account, the renowned two-piece band, comprised of Liam (age 52) and Noel (age 57), shared the news on a weekday.

This past week, I, a die-hard fan, have been buzzing with excitement as my beloved legendary band hinted at a forthcoming announcement! Social media platforms were ablaze with fervor and anticipation as we eagerly awaited the big reveal.

And now, they have finally lift the lid on the big news.

Exciting news! Given the extraordinary interest, extra shows have been scheduled in Toronto, East Rutherford, Los Angeles, and Mexico City for me to attend!

Tickets are set to go live on sale on October 4 at 12pm on livenation.com and ticketmaster.com.

Kicking off with a bonus show in Toronto at the legendary Rogers Stadium on August 24, then moving on to Chicago on August 28.

After connecting in East Rutherford on August 31, as well as an additional date on September 1, Oasis will proceed to Los Angeles on September 6, with an extra show scheduled for September 7 too.

Accompanied by Cage The Elephant as opening acts, they have scheduled a performance in Mexico City, taking place initially on September 13, and an additional concert on September 14 has been recently announced.

Enthusiasts found themselves exhilarated, expressing their excitement in the comments section under the most recent Instagram post. However, a different group of enthusiasts voiced their disappointment, asking for further dates to be revealed in South America, by penning messages demanding additional announcements.

‘cool, now anounce South America’;

‘Did you ever listened the last Offspring single? It calls COME TO BRASIL’;

‘Rio de Janeiro’; ‘BRASIL?????’; ‘Come to Brazil’; ‘BRASIL IS WAITING FOR YOU’;

Delighted to share some fantastic news that’s sure to put a spring in your step! Just a few days ago, the iconic British rock band announced a change in their ticketing strategy for their upcoming five shows across North America. Unlike traditional methods, these tickets will not be influenced by dynamic pricing, ensuring a fair and consistent price for all music enthusiasts like us. Here’s to great tunes and affordable fun!

The well-known Britpop duo faced a lot of criticism when angry fans were required to pay an unusually high price for tickets because the tour was so popular.

Back when Oasis announced their 2025 reunion tour, I nearly choked on my cornflakes! The regular ticket prices skyrocketed from a manageable £148 to an eye-watering £355! It’s like they knew how much we fans have been yearning for this moment and decided to squeeze us dry, isn’t it?

According to Ticketmaster, the high ticket prices were due to increased demand and an agreement made with Oasis’ management. However, Oasis stated that they were not informed about the use of dynamic pricing at the time the tickets first became available for purchase.

Currently, they’re unveiling several fresh performance dates. In an effort to maintain fairness for their fans, Liam and Noel have decided to abandon the contentious practice of dynamic pricing, instead offering prices that reflect reasonable value.

Around 14million fans faced eight-hour queues in a bid to get their hands on the highly-sought-after tickets to see the rock band live, with many still missing out.

On a social media post made on Monday, Oasis assured their fans that they aim to avoid any issues similar to dynamic pricing in the future.

In simpler terms, the dynamic pricing strategy used by Ticketmaster won’t be utilized during the upcoming ticket sales for Oasis concerts in North America.

In common understanding, it’s generally agreed that flexible pricing methods effectively counteract scalping and help maintain ticket costs within an accessible range for many spectators, since these prices often fall below the market value.

In my line of work as a lifestyle expert, I’ve noticed a common issue: when extraordinary fan enthusiasm (which could easily sell out multiple tours the instant tickets become available) meets technology that struggles to handle such overwhelming demand, it significantly diminishes the effectiveness and can result in an unsatisfactory experience for fans.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m making this choice for our upcoming North America tour with a hope that it will help us steer clear of the challenges our fans in the UK and Ireland have faced lately.

Oasis has announced plans to reunite for a set of profitable concerts this coming August, marking their return to the stage since 2009.

2021 signifies three decades since the group unveiled their first official studio album, Definitely Maybe, that swiftly ascended to the peak of the British music charts. The occasion was further elevated with the launch of a special edition commemorating its anniversary.

Oasis released two live records during their heyday back in the 2000s.

They released Familiar To Millions in November 2000 – four months after Oasis debuted at Wembley.

Their first release sold more than a million copies.

Knebworth 1996 was their second release, and this was recorded across two shows at the Hertfordshire venue and was released in September 2021.
