A killer pumpkin terrorizes a group of teens in official trailer for Hulu's Carved

As a horror enthusiast with decades of chilling encounters under my belt, I can confidently say that Huluween’s lineup this year is shaping up to be a spine-tingling treat for all fans like myself! The upcoming horror-comedy flick “Carved” has piqued my interest, and after watching the official trailer, I must admit, it has me on the edge of my seat (or couch, in this case).

Every October, Hulu hosts an annual Halloween celebration known as Huluween, which is currently underway. This year’s event brings a selection of fresh releases to the streaming platform, including the upcoming horror-comedy film “Carved.” The enticing trailer for this movie has just been released, and you can find it below.

Did that sneak peek get you more pumped up for the movie’s release? It definitely did for us!

The movie titled “Carved” is identified as an original production from Hulu for Halloween (Huluween). Essentially, it’s a Hulu exclusive film. Justin Harding, who previously directed “The Haunted Museum,” took on the directorial role, having co-written the screenplay with Cheryl Meyer, known for “The Last Mark.” The movie is adapted from a 2018 short film of the same name, which was created by Harding for Hulu’s Huluween Film Fest and is now streaming on Hulu. We advise watching this short before you enjoy the feature film this October.

WorthenBrooks collaborated with David Brooks to create a horror-comedy. Producer roles were filled by Debbie Liebling, Arbi Pedrossian, Jenna Cavelle, and others. Miles Alva holds an executive producer position, while Lorne Raimi, Alex Hansen, and Nick Page serve as co-producers on the production of this film.

The movie revolves around a teenager who’s heart is heavy with heartbreak, her little brother, and a band of survivors who unexpectedly end up trapped inside a living history museum on All Hallows’ Eve. As they struggle to escape, they must join forces against a menacing pumpkin stalking them.

In the leading role, Peyton Elizabeth Lee from “Prom Pact” and “Andi Mack” plays a teenage playwright. Accompanying her in the cast are Corey Fogelmanis, known for “Ma” and “My Life with the Walter Boys”, Wyatt Lindner of “Titans”, Carla Jimenez from “The Mick”, Sasha Mason of “Ozark”, Jonah Lees from “The Phantom of the Open”, DJ Qualls recognized by “The New Guy”, Marc Sully Saint-Fleur of “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, Elvis Nolasco in “Godfather of Harlem”, Matty Cardarople seen on “Stranger Things”, Jackson Kelly from “Chucky”, and Chris Elliott, a familiar face from “Schitt’s Creek”.

The film titled “Carved” is scheduled for release on Hulu on October 21, 2024. Mark your calendars as this isn’t just any Halloween movie – it’s one you wouldn’t want to skip during the scary season!
