It’s not a toga party! Sydney Roosters star Isabelle Kelly shocks as she shows off her midriff in Grecian gown at the 2024 Dally M Awards
As an ardent fan, I am absolutely thrilled and inspired by the indomitable spirit of Isabelle Kelly! Her life experiences have not only molded her into an exceptional player but also instilled in her an unyielding resilience that is truly awe-inspiring.
At the 2024 Dally M Awards held in Sydney on Wednesday evening, Isabelle Kelly made heads turn with her daring choice of attire.
On the grand night of the National Rugby League (NRL), the captain of the Sydney Roosters, aged 28, elegantly posed on the red carpet, adorning a style inspired by ancient Greek designs.
Instead of her traditional jersey, the NRLW player opted for a revealing dress that resembled attire you might find at a Roman-themed gathering.
In the arrangement, the upper part was pulled across her torso, passing over her chest and circling her neck. This movement showcased her well-defined abdominals in the front and the muscular structure of her back shoulders.
The blonde beauty also bared her muscular arms in the ensemble.
Her makeup matched the rest of the skin she showed off thanks to a uniformly bronze look.
As a devoted admirer of Greek aesthetics, I adorned myself with statement gold accessories, a chic black bag embellished with feathers, and arranged my hair in an elegant style with a central parting.
This year, Isabelle is in contention for the ‘Centre of the Year’ accolade at the Dally M Awards, competing against Anessa Biddle, Tiana Penitani (both from the Sharks), Jamie Chapman (from the Titans), and Mele Hufanga (from the Broncos).
In a matter of days, the Sydney Roosters’ captain will take the field to guide her team against Cronulla at Accor Stadium, aiming for their second championship title.
But the Roosters’ leader was recently in doubt to play in the finals after another series injury.
Last month, during our matchup with the Eels, I took a hard hit that left me with a painful dislocated elbow. The trainers had to help me off the field, leaving me in a state of worry and anticipation for my recovery.
Isabelle needed assistance from trainers as they tended to her injured arm, which had been trapped amidst other players during an attempted tackle.
The team’s captain, visibly distressed due to discomfort, fell to the ground, crying out for medical care.
The NSW Blues captain told the Daily Telegraph that she has been through worse.
She shared that her life has presented many challenging mental hurdles, and tragically, she lost her mother at a young age. This painful experience serves as a reminder of the hardships she’s faced, making her more determined than ever to give her all for this team.
‘I adore this club,’ the centre added.
I truly love everyone involved in it. Reflecting on the challenging moments I’ve faced in the past, I find some inspiration in those memories, knowing that whatever comes my way now won’t be as tough as what I’ve experienced before.
Despite being a skilled player on her own merit, it’s worth mentioning that Isabelle is the offspring of Ken Kelly, a professional player who represented Manly in the 1980s.
