With over 15 million mods downloaded on PC and counting, this game has been a treasure trove of customization. Now, console players like myself get to dive into the depths of community-created content, from callous mutilations to multiplayer updates, all at our fingertips.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve just learned about the latest update for Baldur’s Gate 3! Larian Studios has released Patch 7, and it’s now accessible on consoles. This update brings some wicked twists with the addition of new Evil Endings, enhances split-screen gameplay, and offers a collection of handpicked mods from our vibrant gaming community, enriching the already epic 2023 RPG experience.

To date, over 15 million modifications (mods) have been downloaded for Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC. These mods range from gruesome alterations, multiplayer enhancements, to a burgeoning assortment of user-created transformations. The in-game Mod Manager allows you to explore, install, and utilize mods developed by Larian Studios, offering a vast array of options such as customizing the user interface, adding up to fifteen additional party members, and much more. You can even give Astarion a beard if you so desire!

Regarding the latest Evil Endings: They feature exclusive cinematic scenes for your particularly villainous gameplay experiences, and distinctive conclusions if you’re controlling an Origin Character. Furthermore, a dynamic local split-screen cooperative mode has been implemented, allowing the screen to combine when players are near each other.

Update 7 introduces numerous enhancements to aspects such as scripting, character development, visual animations, and overall gameplay experience. It also offers an Honor Mode with increased challenge and customization options, novel Legendary Actions, and multiple bug fixes specific to Origin Character and Dark Urge scenarios. Additionally, there’s a method available for adding a specific Tiefling bard to your party, though Larian advises caution as you might grow fond of them.
