Prime Video shares first look at London-set teen romance remake
As a seasoned gamer and ardent fan of teen romances, I can’t help but feel a surge of anticipation upon hearing about Prime Video’s upcoming film, “My Fault: London.” Having grown up on the Spanish version of this tale, I’m eager to see how the English remake will breathe new life into the story.
Prime Video have released first-look images for new teen romance My Fault: London.
The movie is a reinterpretation in English of the original Spanish film titled “My Fault” (or “Culpa mía”), which itself is an adaptation from the initial book of Mercedes Ron’s “Culpables” novel series.
In the series “The Buccaneers,” Asha Banks and Matthew Broome portray Noah and Nick, a pair of teenagers whose lives intertwine for the first time when their respective parents marry and they relocate to Nick’s father’s luxurious London residence.
The story progresses as Noah encounters the charismatic yet troubled character, Nick. There’s an instant pull between them. As Noah adapts to her fresh surroundings over the summer, she forges new connections from Nick’s diverse groups of friends. Amidst this, she navigates a complex relationship with him, trying hard to resist their mutual attraction while they strive to maintain some distance.
As Noah embarks on a new romantic journey, she may find herself confronting the painful memories from her past.
In addition to lead actor, this film also stars Ray Fearon known from “Barbie”, Enva Lewis who was in “How to Have Sex”, Sam Buchanan famous for “Back to Black”, and Amelia Kenworthy recognized for her role in “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”.
In May, Amazon’s Vice President from MGM, James Farrell, unveiled a new project. He mentioned that fans worldwide would be thrilled to learn that Prime Video will bring them a fresh, British adaptation of the first book in Mercedes Rón’s top-selling trilogy titled “My Fault: London“. This remake is based on the initial installment of the Culpables series.
It’s exciting for us to invest in the promising individuals, Asha Banks and Matthew Broome, who will bring their unique perspectives to tell a globally recognized tale with a distinctly British flavor.
Regarding “My Fault: London”, there’s no UK release date as of now, but the production for this project has been completed. On the other hand, the Spanish-language sequel titled “Culpa Tuya” is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in December.
