As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say that Katherine Ryan continues to impress me not only with her sharp wit and comedic talent but also with her impeccable fashion choices. The metallic strapless dress she wore at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards was nothing short of stunning, and it’s clear that she knows how to make an entrance.

On Tuesday, at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Raffles in London, Katherine Ryan and her husband Bobby Kootstra made a stunning appearance together.

For the fourth time in a row, the acclaimed stand-up comic, now 41 years old, has made his comeback as the host of the event taking place in western London.

And she made sure to dress to impress as she dazzles in a metallic strapless dress.

Showing off a mesh skirt with a long trail, Katherine shone brightly in photos as the lights danced off her glossy dress.

With minimalist black strappy sandals as a finishing touch, she styled her slightly curled bob, a golden hue, and added a dash of glamour with a shimmering silver pendant necklace.

She clasped hands with her husband Bobby, who was quite sharp-looking in a crisp white jacket, a white T-shirt, and sleek black dress pants.

The pair, with kids Fred (age 3) and Fenna (2), along with Violet (15), all from one partner’s past relationships, seemed to be savoring a peaceful night separate from the bustle of familial duties.

GLAMOUR’s Women of the Year Awards are back once more, honoring notable figures from the realms of music, television, cinema, and sports.

The occasion, backed by Samsung and the latest Galaxy Ring, acknowledges pioneering activists and trailblazers who are spearheading the fight for gender equality.

Past winners have included Kim Cattrall, Naomi Campbell and Victoria Beckham.

Deborah Joseph, GLAMOUR’s European Editorial Director, expressed that the year 2024 has been both significant and challenging for women globally. Many powerful activists have bravely addressed truth to power, yet there are troubling signs of setbacks in women’s rights as well.

As long as there are significant battles left to win, it becomes even more crucial to support and honor trailblazers, activists, and influential feminists who are transforming our world into a more equitable space for women.

‘I can’t wait to toast them all at our annual GLAMOUR Women of the Year awards.’

Speaking as a lifestyle expert, I’ve always advocated for the importance of family time, especially when it comes to balancing careers and personal life. For instance, in my own journey, I make sure to prioritize traveling not just for work, but also to be with my loved ones, even if it means a three-hour journey each way. This is a decision that I believe many professionals, particularly those in the entertainment industry, should consider as well. After all, the memories created with our families are priceless and worth every mile traveled.

The star mentioned that she travels more like a nurturing mother instead of a father, and added that her kids dislike it when she’s absent from home.

She mentioned during the Dish podcast that she leaves at 3pm daily, and she described her touring lifestyle as being more akin to that of a mother rather than a father.

As a lifestyle expert, I find myself navigating a unique rhythm in my profession: While many of my peers take extended breaks, I continue to juggle responsibilities, moving forward, then back, and sometimes sideways, all while ensuring a consistent presence for my children. Nighttime is especially precious as their young minds call out, and I believe no infant should be left unattended during those tender hours.

‘North of Leeds I will sleep over, but anything within three hours I am coming home.’
