American Horror Stories trailer teases nightmare monsters and the Backrooms

As a seasoned gamer and horror enthusiast with a penchant for dark storylines and intriguing narratives, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming “American Horror Stories” episodes on Hulu! The trailer alone has sent shivers down my spine, promising a chilling blend of monsters, backrooms, clones, leprechauns, and more.

Hulu has unveiled the official trailer for upcoming episodes of American Horror Stories, and this installment includes popular stars like Debby Ryan, Victor Garber, Henry Winkler, and Michael Imperioli. The series will commence streaming from October 15 as part of a special “Huluween” event, presenting five chilling new episodes.

The trailer embedded above gives us a much better idea of what to expect from the latest batch, including a dip into the backrooms, monsters lurking under a bed, and something sinister involving clones.

  • The Thing Under the Bed – Debby Ryan stars in this episode about a girl who seems to bring monsters to life with her dreams; a monster is shown yanking people under the bed.
  • Backrooms – Likely a nod to the internet’s favorite eerie liminal space and found-footage shorts, Michael Imperioli stars
  • Clone – An episode with a sci-fi twist featuring Victor Garber
  • Leprechaun – Brief clip shows a guy saying, “They’re bloodsuckers,” and what I assume is a leprechaun attacking someone
  • X – Black and white episode with Henry Winkler

Besides the stars already named, it is worth noting that the cast for the fourth season of American Horror Stories will include actors such as June Squibb, Jeff Hiller, Jessica Barden, Angel Bismark Curiel, Guy Burnet, and Dyllón Burnside.

American Horror Stories, a new series, is derived from the popular and lengthy horror anthology show called American Horror Story. The latest part of season 12, titled “Delicate,” was broadcast in April this year. As for now, FX has confirmed that American Horror Story will continue up to season 13, but specifics about the upcoming season have not been revealed.

During the 2023 Huluween event, the spin-off focused on individual episodes aired, showcasing acting talents such as Lisa Kudrow, Lisa Rinna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Emily Browning.

Right now is an exciting period for fans of Ryan Murphy, as the busy TV producer has several other projects already on-air or in the works. Among them are the recently premiered “Monsters: The Erik and Lyle Menendez” series, and the FX productions “American Sports Story” and “Grotesquerie.
