Nestled in the affluent neighborhood of Bellevue Hill, approximately 5 kilometers from the city center, stands a grand “Italianate”-style home, offering seven spacious bedrooms and five modern bathrooms.
Following a substantial $50 million profit from the off-market sale of their adjacent property in June, the social media star and her husband, venture capitalist Oscar Buhre, have made a fresh investment.
The couple’s newest residence, affectionately referred to as ‘Monkton’, spans an area of approximately 1252 square meters and boasts breathtaking vistas of the iconic Sydney Harbor.
As reported by The Wentworth Courier, it’s being said that the couple finalized their purchase of the vast property in September.
The grand, century-old residence was meticulously crafted by renowned Australian architect Espie Dods, featuring an impressive size and adorned with opulent sophistication throughout.
As a devoted admirer, I’d like to highlight some striking aspects of this architectural marvel: It boasts columns that stand tall and proud, an impressive staircase that sweeps gracefully, a luxurious entrance hall, soaring ceilings, and vast, breathtaking gardens.
Additionally, there are various outdoor entertainment areas for all to enjoy, an independent guest section, a grand dining hall, and a personal lounge area.
Other highlights include a pool house and gym, a cabana and a viewing ‘terrace’.
Following the sale of their adjacent 10-bedroom property in Bellevue Hill for approximately $80 million in August, Conley-Buhre and her husband made a new acquisition. They had initially bought this same property three years prior for around $30 million.
In 2021, the couple expanded their property by installing an indoor swimming pool, three kitchens, a fitness center, a day spa, and a recreational area (rumpus room).
Additionally, it offers a grand ballroom, a secluded chapel, restrooms for both men and women (powder rooms), an impressive stairway, and an elevator accessing every level.
The property includes a home office, a billiards room, an in-house fitness center with sauna, a spacious wine storage area, a professional-grade kitchen for catering services, and a triple garage with extra parking spaces for visitors.

This year, during an interview with Home Beautiful magazine, the couple shared their experience of finding a house that hadn’t received much attention in over four decades before they purchased it.
During that period, the house boasted a ballroom, a private chapel, an independent caretaker’s quarters, and stunning vistas overlooking Bellevue Hill.
The renovation and restoration was inspired from a trip to Spain to source ideas and finishes.
The news about the sale emerged on Thursday, when it was disclosed that the renovated house had been purchased by Hannah Chapman, who resides abroad.

Additionally, the enterprising duo earned a profit from the sale of their former residence situated along Victoria Road in Bellevue Hill.
In the year 2018, they acquired the property for a price of 17.1 million dollars. Subsequently, they held onto it for three years, during which time they carried out a renovation and installed a beautiful new garden. Eventually, they sold it in 2021 for a substantial profit of 30 million dollars.
Stephanie is the daughter of the late aviation pioneer and philanthropist John Conley.
She penned “At Home with The Hostess,” a cookbook that draws inspiration from her globe-trotting adventures and everyday living, offering more than 150 recipes and creative culinary suggestions.
