There is no new episode of Dancing with the Stars tonight (Here’s when DWTS comes back)

As a dedicated DWTS viewer with over two decades of watching under my belt, I must say that this week’s hiatus has left me feeling like a fish out of water! The thought of missing an episode is as unbearable as waiting for a microwave to heat up cold pizza.

If you’re planning to watch the latest episode of Dancing with the Stars on ABC (or Disney+) tonight, I regret to inform you that there won’t be a new show airing. However, fret not! The series will return soon and it promises to be even more exciting than ever! Here are some updates so you don’t miss out on the fun when it comes back.

In the current season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars”, two couples have been eliminated so far. The season premiere didn’t result in any eliminations, but episode 2 had a double elimination. By episode 3, you won’t see Anna Delvey and her dance partner Ezra Sosa, or Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov, as they were both eliminated last week on September 24th.

Was this elimination fair? No, I think not. Tori Spelling showed and gave it her all! She was just starting to get the hang of it when she was sent home. And then we have Anna Delvey, who was sent packing only because of the controversy surrounding her being part of the show in the first place. Listen, I get it. But the girl served her time. Can we not give people second chances? Well, audiences said “NO” to that, and it was heard loud and clear. But you’re trying to tell me that Reginald VelJohnson and Eric Roberts are doing a better job than Tori and Anna? Lies.

Despite the political debates causing a pause, rest assured that “Dancing with the Stars” won’t miss a beat for long! Unfortunately, there will be no new episode airing tonight, October 1st. However, we’ll see the stars dance again shortly!

DWTS returns next week with back-to-back episodes

The 33rd season of “Dancing with the Stars” will resume on a Monday evening, specifically October 7th. Surprise! It’s also coming back the very next night on Tuesday, October 8th, making for a thrilling two-night event that you won’t want to skip. As for whether we’ll see another double elimination, it’s still uncertain, but rest assured, we’ll share more information as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, take comfort in knowing that we’ll be taking a break this week only.

Once more, Dancing with the Stars will be aired on October 7th and 8th, simultaneously on ABC and Disney+. These replays are arranged to compensate for the missed week. The following contestants remain in the competition:

  • Danny Amendola and Witney Carson
  • Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson
  • Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach
  • Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong
  • Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten
  • Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko
  • Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold
  • Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy
  • Eric Robers and Britt Stewart
  • Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber
  • Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater

Which team are you rooting for this season?
