‘Eat healthier, like Mediterranean food every day, not just [for] periods of time,’ she said.
The Mediterranean diet, modeled after the eating patterns of Italians and Greeks from the 1960s, typically features a variety of vegetables, fruits, beans, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and olive oil in abundance.
Elsa also advised that sugar, alcohol and fatty foods should be kept to a minimum.

To begin with, aim for at least 15 or 20 minutes of physical activity each day. For instance, if you take the bus to work, consider getting off a few stops early and walking the rest of the way.
