Actor Ken Page, known for his roles in Broadway productions and famously as the voice of Oogie Boogie in The Nightmare Before Christmas, passed away at the age of 70.
On Monday, Dorian Hannaway, a television producer who was his friend, made an announcement about his demise; however, he chose not to reveal the reason behind it.
Ken Page has moved on to another stage, and this was expressed on her Facebook page with a heartfelt message that left many mourning.

1954 saw the birth of Page in St. Louis, Missouri. As a youngster, he nurtured a passion for the arts, with Barbra Streisand’s melodies filling his ears and the pages of To Sir, With Love captivating his imagination.
As a young student in middle school, he found himself captivated by the world of theater, penning and staging musical productions, as reported by St. Louis magazine.
Following his college education on a full scholarship specializing in theater, he ventured off to New York City during the mid-1970s, aiming to establish himself on stage.
In just two years following his move to New York, he took to the stage on Broadway for the first time in a revival of the cherished 1950s musical Guys and Dolls, which featured an all-black cast from 1976.
On the page, there was an engaging role where he portrayed a gambler conducting a fervent prayer gathering, accompanied by the lively spiritual song “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ The Boat.
