Timothée Chalamet looks unrecognisable in first look at new movie

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must admit that the news about Timothée Chalamet‘s transformations for his upcoming roles has truly piqued my interest. The 1950s hairstyle, round wire-framed glasses, and bushy brows for Marty Supreme, coupled with the Bob Dylan transformation for A Complete Unknown, are sure to make these movies a visual spectacle.

Timothée Chalamet has experienced a significant change in appearance for his upcoming part, making him nearly unrecognizable while shooting the movie titled “Marty Supreme.

The upcoming movie produced by A24, helmed by director Josh Safdie, is expected to draw loose inspiration from renowned table tennis pro Marty Reisman. Specifics about the storyline are currently being held secret until a later date.

Indeed, it’s clear that Timothée Chalamet will sport a significantly altered appearance for his role. Photos from the set reveal a 1950s-inspired hairstyle, round wire-rimmed spectacles, a moustache, and thick eyebrows on him.

Apart from helming “Marty Supreme”, the Safdie brothers (Safdie being the main director) have collaborated with Ronald Bronstein on writing the screenplay. This duo, along with Timothée Chalamet, Eli Bush, and Anthony Katagas, will also serve as producers for the film.

As a fan, I’m thrilled to be part of this exciting project alongside some amazing talents! Gwyneth Paltrow is back on the big screen after her role in Avengers: Endgame in 2019, which I can hardly wait to see. Also joining us are Tyler, the Creator, Odessa A’zion, Penn Jillette, Kevin O’Leary, and Abel Ferrara. What a star-studded lineup!

Additionally, Timothée Chalamet will appear in the forthcoming biographical film titled “A Complete Unknown“, directed by James Mangold. In this project, Chalamet is slated to portray the legendary musician, Bob Dylan, in a role that promises to be transformative for him as seen in the upcoming film “Dune: Part Two“.

At the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, a then-young Bob Dylan stirred up the folk music world with an electric performance that marked the dawn of rock music and cemented his status as the voice of his generation, contributing significantly to one of the most groundbreaking moments in 20th-century music.

In this upcoming production, Elle Fanning from Maleficent is cast opposite Timothée Chalamet as Sylvie Russo, a character believed to be modeled after his late girlfriend Suze Rotolo. Edward Norton takes on the role of folk singer and activist Pete Seeger, Boyd Holbrook portrays Johnny Cash, and Monica Barbaro brings Joan Baez to life as a musician.

Completing our cast are PJ Byrne portraying Harold Leventhal, Scoot McNairy taking on the role of Woody Guthrie, Dan Fogler playing Albert Grossman, and Will Harrison essaying Bob Neuwirth.

Marty Supreme’s release date is still to be determined. On the other hand, A Complete Unknown is set for release on December 25 in the United States, and it will hit the screens in the United Kingdom on January 17, 2025.
