Racing Master, the highly anticipated racing game from NetEase Games, will launch globally on May 8, 2026. Developed by Codemasters, the game is finally available worldwide after a lengthy testing period and several regional releases.

Racing Master was first revealed in 2021, and it’s been a lengthy development process since then. The game has gone through several closed beta tests in various countries, including China, the US, and Canada. After launching in Japan and conducting a closed beta in Latin America, it’s finally being released more widely. It’s taken a while to get everything up to speed, but the game is now rolling out.

Originally, people thought the game might be available worldwide by 2025, but those plans changed. Now, development seems complete and there are no further delays expected.

Racing Master could fill the void in the racing genre on mobile

Racing Master aims to provide a truly realistic racing experience on mobile devices. It features officially licensed cars, famous real-world tracks, and highly detailed physics, which is why the developers have collaborated with various car manufacturers.

As a car enthusiast, I’m seriously impressed with the huge selection of officially licensed vehicles in the game – we’re talking over 100! You’ll find all the big names like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, and even Koenigsegg. They’ve got everything from the latest supercars to classic models, and the best part is how much we can customize them – from a simple paint job to completely changing the body style!

Racing Master boasts a fantastic selection of tracks, featuring famous real-world circuits like Indianapolis, Red Bull Ring, Yas Marina, and Shanghai. You can also race through iconic cityscapes like Chicago and San Francisco.

The mobile racing game market is currently lacking exciting choices, which gives Racing Master a great opportunity to become a leader. Following the closure of popular games like Real Racing 3 and Asphalt Nitro, there’s now a clear opening for a new, top-tier racing experience.

Several racing games are coming out soon, including Off the Road 2 this spring. Gameloft’s Asphalt Legends Unite and Zynga’s CSR Racing offer realistic racing experiences, so Racing Master has a chance to become the most popular – though Need for Speed Mobile, which everyone is excited about, could take the lead when it’s released.

The game is now available for players in Latin America on the Google Play Store and App Store. Everyone else can download it on the launch date.
