Okay, so Zara Larsson made this hilarious comment – she basically said she’s now officially too old for Leonardo DiCaprio! It’s a playful jab at that whole thing about him only dating women under 25, and she sweetly admitted he was a major crush back in her younger years. It’s funny because it’s true, and she handled it with such good humor.
The 28-year-old Swedish singer recently revealed in a popular interview that she doesn’t currently have a celebrity crush. She confessed that Leonardo DiCaprio was the only celebrity she’s ever been interested in romantically.
‘But now he’s kinda old, isn’t he? And I’m also too old for him.’
The singer mentioned a well-known Hollywood rumor about the 51-year-old Shutter Island actor only dating women younger than 25.
I appreciate that Zara isn’t following typical media training advice. It makes her seem much more authentic and relatable.
‘Tbf Zara has been like this…her entire career lol’;
‘So real for that’;
‘That was such an unhinged response lol’;
‘This is funny af but I’d be so scared of possibly running into him at some event lmao’.
This happened after Zara spoke out against fans who were comparing her and Tate McRae, creating unnecessary competition between them.
She met him while opening for the popular singer, Greedy, during his Miss Possessive Tour. The tour concluded with a final performance in Los Angeles in September.
Larsson posted photos from the concerts on Instagram and expressed her gratitude to McCrae for letting her be the opening act.
She insisted they were ‘just two pop girls who love and support each other.’
That’s it for the Miss Possessive tour! A huge thank you to Tate McRae for sharing the stage with me and my dancers every night – I really appreciate it!
I’m so grateful for the chance to share a Zara outfit with everyone. The positive response over the last few weeks, from your amazing fans and online, has been incredible and I’m truly touched.
It’s been odd to see people trying to create a rivalry between us, especially since we’re just two pop singers who genuinely like and support each other, even when we’re not on stage!
You’re remarkably talented – it’s clear every time you perform – and you’re also supported by a fantastic team.
It’s been wonderful working with the dancers, band, crew, and everyone else involved – their positive attitudes really reflect their work ethic.
You’re amazing – a true leader and inspiration! I’m so grateful for this experience and want you to know I’ll always support you.
