So, if you’re curious about this game but new to it, you might’ve heard of Ragnarok Online. It was a massive MMORPG back in the early 2000s, and a lot of us were totally hooked! When the original servers started shutting down, Ragnarok X came along as a kind of spiritual successor. It’s the same world we all loved, but now it looks amazing with this really cute, anime-inspired art style.

New Level 100 Content

The most talked-about part of this update is reaching level 100. With the new Ascension feature, players can now level up beyond the previous limit, gaining increased power and stats.

Reaching the highest level isn’t fun if there’s nothing to do afterward, but we’ve added plenty of new content for players who hit the level cap! You can explore new dungeons and maps, take on new quests, and even find work through a new commission board.

War Of The Chosen S3

The new Level update also launches Season 3 of War Of The Chosen, ROX’s biggest 5v5 player-versus-player competition. You can find the full schedule in the image below, including details about the battle areas and the prizes you can win.

This season features a new Division System designed to create more balanced matches. Servers are split into Standard and Peak Divisions, where you’ll climb in rank by competing. Higher divisions offer better rewards, giving skilled players a chance to prove themselves and earn valuable prizes.

Season 3 introduces several new features to enhance your gameplay. Here’s a quick overview of what’s new:

  • Hype System. Global broadcasts and killstreak UI so you can showboat appropriately. 
  • Realtime Battle Stats. Damage, Heals, and K/D show on the real-time scoreboard. 
  • Minimap. Get pillar positions in real-time to better coordinate your approach and minimize guesswork. 
  • Prep Phase Switchouts. You can now change presets, skills, or gear in the preparation phase, so you’re not locked in. (Well, not locked in to a loadout. You should be generally locked in in WOC.)

As a huge fan, I’m so excited about what winning will unlock! Not only will we get awesome WOC coins, but there are also exclusive costumes and mounts only available in Season 3. And the best part? The winning team will have statues built of them and displayed in the Hall of Fame – how cool is that?!
