3 underrated names on the WWE women's roster

As a seasoned gamer who’s seen more wrestling matches than I care to count, I can confidently say that WWE is sitting on a goldmine with their underrated divas. Take Michin for instance – she’s like the hidden level boss in a game, tough as nails and full of unexpected moves. Her street fight against Nia Jax was the equivalent of unlocking that secret, epic battle!

Fans have repeatedly shown their affection for the WWE women’s division. From SmackDown to Monday Night Raw, these talented ladies consistently deliver top-notch performances, and their characters are among the most beloved on the program. Several women in particular shine as major stars and promising figures of the future across the entire promotion. Conversely, there are other women who are significantly underestimated for their potential contributions, and WWE needs to find ways to utilize these women more effectively on TV.

Michin

Michin is a name that may not immediately scream “underrated,” but she’s one who could give the company so much more if given the chance. She’s frequently used as a performer meant to get other names over, and she does so well. Michin has seen a lot of television time as of late, both on SmackDown and WWE NXT. Her street fight against Nia Jax was well-received and featured a memorable finish to boot. It’s good seeing Michin get so much more television time, but she’s one of those hidden gems who could be a champion if the moment presented itself. With more than 15 years in the industry, it would be great to see her obtain her first singles title since 2018.

Candice LeRae

Candice LeRae is one of the top female wrestlers currently in the business, but surprisingly, she’s only had 15 televised matches this year, according to Cagematch. This could indicate that WWE isn’t fully utilizing her talents as their history suggests a tendency to underuse performers. Her recent booking seems particularly lackluster compared to her performances in WWE NXT and other companies. If WWE were to introduce a midcard women’s championship, LeRae’s skills, charisma, and fan base make her an ideal candidate to be the first champion, laying the groundwork for future talent.

Kayden Carter

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance made their debut on the main roster and were swiftly placed in the tag team title contention, even winning the championships for 39 days. However, since then, they’ve been utilized either as narrative elements or entirely omitted from television broadcasts. This is particularly disappointing considering Kayden Carter’s potential if she were given more opportunities to shine as a performer. Carter is an exceptional in-ring talent with a distinct move set that she constantly refines whenever she gets the chance to perform. Additionally, her appearance sets her apart from other performers on the roster, which is crucial in the realm of sports entertainment. Regrettably, Carter is another performer who is frequently underestimated within WWE.

It’s anticipated that creating mid-tier titles specifically for the women’s division could greatly benefit not just those involved currently, but also other wrestlers on the roster. There’s a significant void that needs addressing, and many of these ladies, as well as others, would excel in such roles.
