Married At First Sight star Jay Howard suffers a career setback as she reveals her latest health woe has ‘postponed filming for her next job’

On the television show “Married At First Sight,” Jay Howard has faced a temporary halt in her professional progress, as she disclosed that her recent health issue has caused a delay in filming for her upcoming project.
32-year-old ex-contestant, who made an appearance on the program back in 2023, shared on Instagram on Thursday that she had suffered a dislocation of her knee.
After a knee injury that made it swell almost twice its original size, she expressed gratitude towards the team at Accrington Victoria Hospital for their assistance.
Jay posted a candid snap posing outside the hospital with her knee strapped into a black brace.
Even though she was injured, Jay seemed full of energy as she donned a bright pink tracksuit and white Crocs, limping slightly towards her car for the trip home.
She posted a genuine video to her 208,000 followers, writing in the caption: ‘Just me injuring my knee severely a couple of days prior to starting work on my upcoming project’
Despite being injured, limited in movement, and walking with a limp, I’m determined to carry on! You might notice me moving gingerly for a while…

Jay’s current health issue arises a year after his emotional entrance at the Married At First Sight reunion dinner party, which took place alone.
At the party, it came to light that she had parted ways with her husband, Luke Worley (aged 31). Some spectators even commented that it seemed as though she had managed to get out of a difficult situation.
Luke got kicked off the TV series following a violent altercation with fellow actor Jordan Gayle, aged 27. His controversial social media content has also upset Channel 4 executives, leading to Jay’s departure as she felt unable to carry on without him.
However, the other competitors were taken aback when Jay appeared at the dinner party by himself, sparking questions about what might have transpired.
In response to Laura and Peggy, the sales manager clarified that Luke essentially suggested we might as well be friends instead.
She added: ‘I asked him what he wanted and he couldn’t answer the question.
Instead, I wish we could’ve given it a shot and see if things could’ve worked out. I still care for him deeply, yet reality is what it is.
