The Penguin switches up release days this week with episode 2

As a die-hard DC fan who’s seen my fair share of Penguin iterations, I must say that the premiere episode was a breath of fresh air! Colin Farrell brought his A-game as Oz Cobblepot, and the intricate storytelling kept me on the edge of my seat.

How did both Penguin enthusiasts and DC devotees find the debut episode? Personally, I found it quite enjoyable and am genuinely excited about what’s to come! The first episode effectively showcased Colin Farrell reprising his role as Oz Cob/Penguin, and it certainly didn’t disappoint in terms of its narrative and acting. Here’s hoping the Batman spin-off series maintains this level of quality throughout the rest of the season.

The premiere of the miniseries took place on September 19, 2024. However, contrary to expectations, there won’t be a new episode tonight. Instead, HBO has decided to change the release days for the show, beginning with episode 2 of The Penguin. From now on, episodes will air on a different day, not Thursdays.
