After gaining fame, they were featured on the TLC reality TV show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” which debuted in 2012 but ended in 2014 following allegations that Mama June was seen with Mark Anthony McDaniel, a man who had served 10 years in prison for aggravated child molestation (convicted in 2004) and is a registered sex offender.
This prompted Mama June to admit that Pumpkin’s father was not McDaniel as previously stated.
In reality, her biological father was Michael Anthony Ford, a former convict who had served prison time for child sexual abuse, having been exposed by the TV show “To Catch a Predator” in 2005.
