As an avid fan of both history and British dramas, I am beyond excited about James Norton’s upcoming project, “The House of Guinness.” The blend of wealth, power, and tragedy that the Guinness dynasty represents is a recipe for a gripping narrative that I can’t wait to witness.
He’s been hard at work filming his new drama about the origin of the Guinness Empire.
On Saturday, James Norton took a break to spend time with his friend Jack Farthing over coffee in north London.
39-year-old actor and 38-year-old Poldark co-star were seen walking together, looking relaxed and struggling to suppress their amusement while out on a leisurely walk.
I, as a lifestyle enthusiast, donned a laid-back white T-shirt and a pair of green cargo pants during my casual catch-up with another individual, who also chose an identical outfit. We sipped our coffees leisurely and engaged in conversation.
Filming for James’ newest venture by Steven Knight kicked off last month, as he was spotted on location in Liverpool during the shooting of action sequences.
Netflix has recently revealed the additional stars set to appear alongside James in the eagerly awaited series titled “The House of Guinness.
In the cast of Happy Valley, we’ll see familiar figures like Jack Gleeson, best known for his role as the cruel King Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones, and Fionn O’Shea, who played Jamie, Daisy Edgar Jones’ romantic interest in Normal People.
Alongside those previously confirmed for the upcoming show penned by Peaky Blinders writer Steven Knight, there is also Louis Partridge, who is currently dating Olivia Rodrigo.
The star-studded cast also contains Masters of the Air star Anthony Boyle, Emily Fairn who recently starred opposite Martin Freeman in The Responder, Niamh McCormack, Seamus O’Hara and Irish actress Dervla Kirwan.
In addition to David Wilmot, Michael McElhatton, Danielle Galligan, Hilda Fay, and Florence Pugh (who previously worked together in The Wonder) are also set to join forces for this upcoming project.
The show’s creator said he was delighted with the star-studded cast.

The novel “House of Guinness” is penned by none other than Steven Knight, who at present, has his hands full with the movie adaptation of “Peaky Blinders.
In March, Netflix revealed they’d be creating a series delving into the historical background of a well-known brewing dynasty.
The show will tell the amazing story of the prosperity achieved by the family behind the well-known Irish brewery, which was initially established by Arthur Guinness as far back as 1759.
However, beneath the facade of affluence and success, there hides an unsettling chronicle of persistent hardship that has befallen the family.
The family, from Tara Browne who passed away after a car accident in South Kensington, to those embroiled in scandalous relationships and divorces, and the heartbreaking drowning of Honor Uloth at 19 in 2020, appears to have suffered a succession of unfortunate events.
Due to the tragic personal misfortunes suffered by the Guinness family, their name has gained an ominous reputation, often leading people to believe that the company is under some sort of ‘misfortune’ or ‘bad luck’ spell, despite their current wealth exceeding £900million today.
Walther Edward Guinness, known as Lord Moyne, was a prominent Anglo-Irish politician and entrepreneur, though to some he signified the beginning of the so-called Guinness family’s misfortune.
A relative of the Guinness family was a dear friend and eventually a political ally of Winston Churchill.
As a dedicated servant, I held the position of Minister of State for Britain in the Middle East up until November 1944. Tragically, I fell victim to the ruthless actions of the terrorist organization, the Stern Gang, in Cairo during that same year.
1978 saw the tragic incident of Lady Henrietta Guinness, who leapt from a bridge in Umbria, Italy, following a car accident in the French Riviera that left her unable to fully recover.
