Black Doves star’s “unpredictable” must-see British thriller is now streaming on the BBC

The new British thriller Femme, starring Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (known from Misfits and Black Doves) and George MacKay (1917, I Came By), is now available to stream on BBC iPlayer after its television debut last night.

The movie centers on Jules, a drag performer who is attacked after a night out because of anti-LGBTQ+ bias, and it’s currently available to stream on iPlayer.

After leaving his dangerous life behind and withdrawing from the world, he spots the person who harmed him in a vulnerable position and begins plotting his revenge.

Most movies on iPlayer are only available for about a month, but you’ll have much longer to watch Femme – it will be on the service for almost a year, a full 11 months!

The show is worth watching, especially since Callum Scott-Duff and Samuel MacKay won the Best Joint Lead Performance award at the 2023 British Independent Film Awards.
