As a seasoned gamer of reality TV shows, I have witnessed many lives unfold right before my eyes, and Laura Hamilton’s journey is no exception. The resilience she has shown after her divorce from Alex Goward, maintaining a focus on their children’s well-being, is truly commendable. Her approach to co-parenting, which prioritizes the kids’ happiness over personal feelings, is something that should be celebrated in today’s world.
A Place in the Sun star Laura Hamilton has shared a relationship update following her divorce.
In 2022, the former runner-up of Dancing on Ice, who is also known as Alex Goward’s ex-wife, parted ways with him following a decade of marriage. They have two children together – a ten-year-old son named Rocco and an nine-year-old daughter named Tahlia.
Last month, Hamilton revealed she had “been on a journey” since her divorce, which has led her to start dating and “having fun” again.
At the National Television Awards recently, Hamilton directly addressed whispers about a fresh romance in her life that have been circulating lately while speaking to “OK!” magazine.

She replied, “That seems to be the case, however, I haven’t personally verified it.” In a recent magazine interview, I mentioned that I’ve been dating and having fun.
“But there’s all this speculation now that I am in a relationship with somebody. But I’ve not confirmed or denied that. I’ve actually joked that I might even have a man in every country.”
Hamilton further elaborated that she consistently puts the well-being of her children first after the divorce, sharing insights into her experience of co-parenting with her former spouse.
She mentioned, “It seems odd to say this, but Alex and I parted ways three years back. For me, it feels like it happened ages ago. Yet, our separation was handled quietly yet positively. Our main focus has always been the kids, and they continue to be wonderful.

We share parenting responsibilities quite harmoniously. It shows that even after parting ways, parents can put aside their differences for the sake of their children. Fortunately, we prioritize our offspring above all else.
Since 2012, Hamilton has been a regular host for Channel 4’s real estate series “A Place in the Sun.” Additionally, she has hosted renovation shows such as “Cowboy Builders & Bodge Jobs,” and spearheaded the comeback of the popular ’90s game show “Fort Boyard: Ultimate Challenge.” In 2022, Hamilton started presenting live segments for viewers and features on “This Morning.
A Place in the Sun airs and streams on Channel 4.
