The Galarian Expedition is currently being disrupted due to a Team GO Rocket takeover happening in Pokémon GO. Starting from Tuesday, October 8 and ending on Friday, October 11
Among those debuts is Shadow Heatran, that will be avaliable by defeating Giovanni in Pokémon GO.
Shadow Heatran debuting in latest Pokémon GO Team GO Rocket takeover
During every Team Go Rocket takeover, a brand new, formidable Shadow Legendary Pokemon is introduced to the game. In this instance, for the Galarian Expedition takeover, the debuting Pokemon will be Heatran in its Shadow form.
During the event’s commencement, you’ll come across Shadow Hestran via a fresh Special Research tale. Advance in this storyline to obtain a Super Rocket Radar, then set off on a pursuit for Giovanni!
You can claim this Special Research until the end of Pokémon GO: Max Out on December 3, at 9:59 a.m. local time.
Team GO Rocket takeover Event bonuses
The following bonuses will be in place during the event.
- Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.
- You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.
New leader lineups and Shadow Pokémon
During the start of this event, the rosters for Arlo, Cliff, Sierra, Giovanni, and every other member of Team GO Rocket will be updated. Expect to encounter several brand-new Shadow Pokémon.
