Burnice is a potent character who rapidly amasses her Fire Anomaly by executing EX Special Moves, increasing Heat. When sufficient Heat has been gathered, Burnice moves into the Nitro-Fuel Mix state, scorching adversaries with Scorched. The damage and Fire Anomaly buildup persist even when she is out of battle.

You can acquire the time-limited S-Rank Agent Burnice (Anomaly – Fire) by conducting Signal Searches on a future broadcast.

● Blitz Mode Added to Hollow Zero – Withering Garden

In the game Hollow Zero – Withering Garden, a fresh Blitz mode called “Seedbed” has been introduced. You can access it by successfully completing Ether Activity 3 in “Withering Garden: Core” once.

2. In Blitz Mode, instead of scouring Hollows through the Monitor Array, you can launch direct attacks on enemies. Upon finishing, you’ll receive Investigation Points as a reward.

3. In Blitz mode, you have the option to select the level of Ether activity’s intensity. By engaging in battles with higher-intensity Ether activity, you can accumulate a greater number of Investigation Points.

● New Backup Battery Charge System

In Version 1.2, when your battery is fully charged or over, the Backup Charging feature activates: It restores 1 point every 18 minutes, with a maximum restoration of 2,400 points.

Additional Notes:

When a Proxy’s battery is less than 240 during maintenance, it will naturally recharge up to the maximum capacity of 240. Once the charged battery surpasses 240, it continues to recharge in proportions.

3. Should the Proxy’s battery charge exceed 240 units during maintenance, the backup battery will gradually regain its charge over an elapsed period.

● Adds New Fairy-Auto Explore Mode to HDD

Employ Fairy for an exploration once you’ve completed both Exploration and Story missions for the first time.

Following the advancement of the central storyline in Chapter 4: Tour de Inferno, you’ll receive new assignments across all game zones and through Inter-Knot alerts.

In the heart-pounding Chapter 4: Tour de Inferno, I find myself making headway with the gripping narrative. Soon enough, I’ll reach Blazewood, where Officer Mewmew awaits my arrival. Engaging in a friendly conversation with Officer Mewmew will grant me access to their Blazewood Field Notes. Completing various tasks assigned by Officer Mewmew, such as city missions, Bangboo repairs, locating mini cargo trucks, and collecting commemorative coins, will not only advance the story but also earn me each unique medal. It’s time to roll up my sleeves and dive back into this thrilling adventure!

2. New Content

Introduces fresh, animated backgrounds for Caesar, Burnice, Piper, and Lucy. Once you reach the required trust level with a specific Agent by unlocking them, their unique dynamic wallpaper becomes accessible.

The license level for Hollow Zero has been boosted from 60 to 90, and this change will take place at 4 a.m., starting from the first Monday following the update (as per server time).

Instead of just the bottom-center area, users can now tap anywhere on the screen while delving into Hollow Zero through Monitor Array. This will allow them to bypass animations like Resonium gathering and catalysis without needing to press “Confirm” on their controllers.

Ambush Node

Introduces Ambush Node in Version 1.2: The Ambush Node now features five entry points and is no longer subject to time constraints. Prior to engaging any frontier, you will receive two Ether Dewdrops as a bonus, which will restore your agent’s health upon defeat; your rating for each challenge is determined by the total number of defeats your agent has experienced.

Task: Finish the Interlude for Chapter 2, titled “Mission Unthinkable,” and overcome the Stable Node: Tenth Frontier to gain access.

Node ends at 04:00 (server time) on 11/6/2024.

Critical Node

After Version 1.2 updates, buff effects of Critical Node are:

Phase I:

● Increases Agent ATK and DMG taken by 20%.

When a squad member gets a shield, they regain 10 Energy and temporarily boost their Attack by 20% more for 20 seconds. However, this effect can only occur once every 20 seconds.

Phase II:

● When bearing a shield, Agent Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 25%.

● When hitting an enemy that is afflicted with Attribute Anomaly, Agent DMG increases by 35%.

Phase III:

● Increases Agent DMG dealt by 25%.

Boosts Agent’s Attack by 20% for a span of 15 seconds whenever they cause Burn or Shock to an opponent. If the opponent isn’t already Stunned, it instantly induces a 20% Daze effect instead.

● Optimizes 3D model for Agent Zhu Yuan without her weapon in city areas.

● Optimizes parts of 3D models for Agents Caesar, Burnice, and Hoshimi Miyabi.

● Optimizes some animations for some Agents.

● Optimizes camera visuals for some Agents on the deployment screen.

Tailor the narrative summary for Mindscape Cinema 06 “Break the Limit”, ensuring it’s exclusive for Agent Anton, as this version won’t alter actual ability impacts.

2. Enemies

● Optimizes visuals of Twin Marionettes battlefield.

● Optimizes 3D mode for Doppelganger – Jane;

● Optimizes logic of enemy target lock for Chain Attacks launched by Agents’ Perfect Assists.

Enhances the descriptive text for “Heavy Striker” – this aspect doesn’t interfere with game mechanics.

3. Systems

● Raises the level cap for New Eridu City Fund. Adds rewards for City Fund Levels 51–60.

Enhances the W-Engine Recycling mechanism within the W-Engine. Now, proxies will no longer have to spend Denny coins to recycle their W-Engines. Instead, they will be able to receive the Denny cost for recycling W-Engines from previous updates through their email post the update.

On mobile devices, you can now include a new feature in the “Drag to Switch to Previous Character” function by navigating to “Options” then “Other”.

The option is not activated initially. Activate it to allow switching to the previous character by holding down the “Switch Characters” key and moving the button sideways.

● Adds new Claim All function to Hollow Zero – Bounty Commissions screen.

As the Inter-Knot Reputation grows during gameplay, there might be occasional boosts to the difficulty level in Bangboo.

Upon arriving at the Sixth Street coffee shop and newsstand, the store’s business screen automatically activates following the completion of daily errands.

During combat, the display prioritizes information about the agents. Now, the unique icon for characters not directly involved in the fight appears beneath each agent’s profile picture.

● Optimizes time system. Proxies can now adjust in-game time freely.

● Optimizes red dot display logic for Friend requests.

● Optimizes Edit Friend Notes function, which can now be left blank.

● Optimizes UI position of Camera function.

Improves the Agent Invitation feature, enabling users to immediately invite another Agent without leaving the Contact Interface after the initial invitation.

● Introduces fresh accomplishments for the journeys of A Ridu, Phaethon’s Tale, Agent Trust, Hollow Zero, Enemy Target, Fighting, and Hollow Expedition Manual, incorporating secret ones as well.

Introduces fresh types of accomplishments: Opportunities Combined, Interconnected Highlighted Topic, and Zero Pivotal Key.

Transfers the “Hidden Commission Achievements” labeled as “A Ridu Journey” to a new label, “Zero Key,” while keeping their original unlocking requirements unaltered. Similarly, certain “Enemy Target” achievements are relocated and renamed as “Combat Skills,” with no alterations to the conditions required for unlocking them.

● Corrects some names and descriptions of achievements without changing unlock conditions.

4. Gameplay

● Adjusts weekly bounty commission for Hollow Zero from Special Commission ×1 and Common Commission ×3 to Common Commission ×4 which is subdivided into S, A, B, and C tiers. Earn the corresponding number of Investigation Points to complete weekly Common Commissions. This adjustment takes effect at 04:00 on the first Monday after the update (server time).

Edge mission, and finished the commission titled “Enchanting and Stunning, Withering Away”, then you will be able to unlock the Exploration Mode for Withering Garden.

Boost your earnings of regular rewards for the game “Hollow Zero: Withering Garden – Core” by choosing actions with Ether and intensifying them, which will result in a higher number of Investigation Points when you successfully complete the task.

Enhances smooth communication between Hollow Zero and related systems during Hollow exploration and event interactions using the Monitor Array, for a seamless user experience.

Boosts the speed of certain animations as you navigate through the Hollows using the Monitor Array, when the fast-forward feature is activated.

Once you’ve achieved the status of “Certified Proxy,” the coffee shop starts offering discounts on Tin Master Specials, and the production of New Eridu Specials comes to an end. Enjoying a Tin Master Special gives you a boost of 80 Battery Charge.

● After the update, all coffee will not cost Dennies when ordering in the coffee shop.

5. Mouse & Keyboard and Controller Optimizations

● Optimizes UI and controller controls for the Partner Archive screen.

At the Arcade, we adjust the display and control settings to enhance the results screen. The buttons on the Arcade screen, labeled as ‘Confirm’ and ‘Cancel’, will align with the overall system preferences.

● Optimizes controls for redemption code screen when using a controller.

● Adds new button display for events on the HDD screen when using a controller.

Enables you to pause an animation while performing a Signal Search, simply by pressing any button on your controller.

Because new features have been included in both combat and city exploration gameplay, the default configuration of controller functions has been altered. If your personalized control setup clashes with the recently introduced controls, it will automatically revert back to the default setup following the update.

● Optimizes display method for controller buttons on some screens.

Introduces a quick-switch hotkey across various system screens for the Agent, Plot, Signal Search, Store, and others. This can be done either by pressing the Esc key on your keyboard or the Menu button on the controller, allowing you to easily toggle between using a controller, keyboard, or mouse.

Alter the arrangement of buttons on the user interfaces (UI) for the Dismantle and Tuning screens at the music store, as well as the Drive Disc Lock and Discard buttons on the Agent Equipment screen when using a controller, to improve navigation.

● Optimizes logic of the “Return” function at the music store while in controller mode.

● Adds a new Match Details button to the Co-Op screen inside Arcade games.

6. Others

• Adjusts chain attack triggers so that the same ability activates just one chain attack on a single opponent.

If a skill that inflicts ongoing damage initiates a Chain Attack but subsequently terminates it, it won’t set off another Chain Attack.

● Optimizes the traffic light environment at Lumina Square.

● Optimizes 3D model visuals of some NPCs.

● Optimizes English, Japanese, and Korean voiceovers for some parts of the story.

● Adjusts playback section of the song “60% Daily” in the playback device.

Change the conditions for earning the “Soul Hounds III ‘Straight Ahead'” achievement from “Swim for 100 meters without getting hurt” to “Swim for 40 meters without getting hurt”.

Modifies, enhances, and corrects the in-game text for certain languages. These alterations do not influence gameplay or features.

[Issue Fixes]

1. Agents

● Addresses a problem where, upon activating Agent Lucy’s Mindscape Cinema 06 Fierce Fangs of Fire, the damage from Burn becomes unexpected when the Guard Boars detonate.

Rectifies a problem where the third action of Agent Ellen’s Basic sequence appears distorted or misaligned on the screen following a connection to a special attack.

● Fixes an issue where Agent Lucy’s Interrupt Level for Chain Attacks is abnormal.

As an avid gamer, I’m thrilled to share that a fix has been implemented for a hiccup I’ve noticed in Agent Qingyi’s animations. Previously, after executing a Perfect Assist, her animation would sometimes appear incorrect. But fear not, this issue is now behind us! The developers have sorted it out, ensuring our favorite agent’s moves flow smoothly as intended.

When Agent Ellen executes a Charged Scissor Strike that pushes an adversary, followed swiftly by “Basic Attack: Flash Freeze Trimming,” there’s a possibility that the initial strike might miss the enemy.

Addresses a problem where teammates occasionally fail to obtain buffs during combat entry from a Chain Attack initiated by Agent Soukaku’s Fly the Flag.

Addresses a problem that happens when Agent Ben engages in battle and activates the EX Special Attack, Cashflow Counter, followed by another strike. There’s a possibility that some damage inflicted might be reduced.

2. Enemies

● Addresses a problem where, under specific conditions, the targeting system might fail to lock onto enemies.

Addresses a problem that, under specific conditions, may cause certain Rampant Brute’s attacks to have an unusually high interruption rate.

3. Systems

● Addresses a problem where, during scrolling on the enhanced Drive Disc screen, there might be a possibility of displaying inaccurate information about the currently highlighted Drive Disc.

● Fixes an issue where, under certain circumstances, some sound effects may play incorrectly.

Resolves a problem that occurs when you choose SMAA anti-aliasing under Graphics Options, resulting in some scenes appearing distorted or incorrect.

4. Gameplay

Resolves a problem that may prevent normal advancement of Agent Trust events under specific conditions.

Revises the inaccurate label for the achievement “Root Removal” to maintain consistency, but the modification does not impact the completion criteria of the achievement.

● Fixes an issue where, under certain circumstances, there is a chance that the player is unable to respawn in Snake Duel – Clash.

Alters a problem that arises during the “Scientific Explosion” phase of the Exploration Commission, preventing the player from operating their character as usual.
