Star Wars Hunters season 3: Everything new in the updated game
As an experienced gamer with a soft spot for Star Wars and free-to-play games, I can confidently say that the third season of Star Wars: Hunters is not to be missed! Having started playing it since its launch back in 2024, I’ve witnessed the continuous growth and expansion of this game, and Season 3 seems to be the biggest leap yet.
If you have yet to download Star Wars: Hunters, it’s not too late! In fact, now is the perfect time to jump in with the launch of the game’s third season on September 24.
Initially made available to all players in June 2024 without any charges, this free-to-play game has been consistently expanding with fresh content for its users since its debut. Season 3 could be one of the most significant upgrades the game has seen so far, so let’s quickly outline the modifications.
The standout novelty of the current season is a fresh playable character, a Ewok named Pilbush who pilots an AT-ST. Just like previous Arena Pass characters, you can acquire this newcomer exclusively by buying an Arena Pass for the game. However, given enough time, you’ll be able to embark on her Hunter’s Path without any cost.
The next major change is the introduction of our new arena map, which we’re calling Hoth. Previously, players were battling it out in Vader’s Castle, but now it’s time for a cooler environment. This new map might take you a few matches to get familiar with, so don’t rush and expect to stumble around or even take an unwanted tumble at times. It’s normal, we all do it sometimes.
With the arrival of a fresh season, it’s time to embark on the journey to unveil the star character of Season One – Aran Tal, the Mandalorian. For now, the path to unlock K-A0S remains elusive, but you have the option to acquire her separately without needing a full Arena Pass.
Of course, as a new season arrives, there are fresh goods available for purchase in the store. Most of these items can be obtained using in-game credits or crystals, so if you’re like me and prefer not to spend any real money on these games, you won’t feel left out by much.
