Team Falcons officially sign Wxltzy ahead of ALGS Champs

As a seasoned Apex Legends enthusiast who’s witnessed numerous high-stakes matches, I must admit that this latest move by Team Falcons has stirred quite a buzz in the esports community. The signing of Wxltzy, a player with an impressive LAN record, seems like a strategic shift for the team.

Wxltzy teams up with fellow countryman Zer0.

As your friendly neighborhood gamer, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! Our gaming squad, Team Falcons, has just welcomed two new members: Wxltzy and coach Dragur, who are joining us in high spirits ahead of the ALGS Championship. This announcement comes after our previous teammates Genburten and zz decided to embark on a new adventure elsewhere. Buckle up, folks! It’s going to be an epic ride with the revamped Team Falcons!

Here’s another significant addition to Team Falcon’s roster: Wxltzy boasts an impressive LAN track record, placing 10th at Mannheim and 4th in Los Angeles. Now, he assumes the third IGL role for our team independently.

Team Falcons sign Wxltzy, breaking up ‘super team’

This highly anticipated signing marks a significant turning point for the competitive scene of ALGS esports. For the past three months, Team Falcons have reigned supreme and sparked discussions about super teams. Now, the question on everyone’s mind is: How are the Falcons faring? What kind of pressure do they face? Who can possibly challenge them? All eyes have been on this particular roster.

This team consistently aimed for extraordinarily high goals, yet they didn’t quite meet them. The reasons behind the recent roster shift are still unclear, but finishing at the bottom (20th) of the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs was significantly worse than predicted. However, their performance in the Split 2 Pro League and Esports World Cup matched the expectations set for this squad.

Due to this decision, many fans are expressing doubts and questioning the move. While Wxltzy certainly has skills, Genburten is widely recognized as one of the most versatile players globally, and he would undeniably strengthen virtually any team. However, it’s essential to note that we don’t have confirmation about Genburten leaving. It could be that he decided to leave on his own accord, seeking a fresh start with another team. Keep an eye out for future updates.

Team Falcons are still a force to be reckoned with

Though the term ‘super team’ may no longer apply due to Genburten’s departure, this group remains among the top-tier teams in Apex Legends currently. Wxltzy brings a wealth of expertise and is someone Zer0 has long wanted to go up against. With each member having IGL (In-Game Leader) experience, this team now boasts a vast reservoir of knowledge and power. The team dynamics will certainly prove intriguing. It’s unclear at the moment who will serve as the anchor (if anyone does), but Genburten’s fear factor is still very much present within this trio.

Without a doubt, Team Falcons has something to showcase in Japan, as they’ll be eager to demonstrate their true abilities following their 20th place finish. A team is only as strong as its most recent performance, and such a result is far from what this side is capable of. By the end of January, the game strategy we saw in Mannheim – which didn’t favor Team Falcons – should be a thing of the past.

Over the coming months, we’re expecting a new gameplay style or strategy (meta) to appear due to the mid-season update we’ve already seen and additional changes like Season 23 and other updates before the ALGS Championship.
