Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reign Expansion Out Now With Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for Mortal Kombat and its intricate lore, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about the latest expansion, Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns! The prospect of diving back into the world of Earthrealm, battling alongside iconic characters like Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot is simply enticing.

Today, WB Games and NetherRealm Studios have unveiled “Mortal Kombat 1: Chaos Prevails,” their latest expansion. This substantial update offers the next chapter in the main game’s storyline, along with three brand-new characters to join the fight, as well as access to three guest fighters as they become available.

In the latest expansion pack, Khaos Reigns DLC, you can now play as characters like Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot. These characters are crucial in the new Story chapters that have been added, where Fire God Liu Kang is tasked with rallying his allies to preserve a tranquil New Era. However, Titan Havik serves as the main villain in this storyline, aiming to plunge all realms into utter chaos.

In the upcoming future, characters such as Ghostface (from Scream), the shape-shifting T-1000 Terminator (from T2: Judgment Day), and Conan the Barbarian will join the roster for Mortal Kombat 1. Additionally, players can enjoy a complimentary update that includes Animality finishers for all characters, a reprise of the popular Towers of Time Mode, and four fresh arenas.

The game Mortal Kombat 1: Chaos Rules is currently available for purchase on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC at a price of $49.99/£39.99. In the trailer below, you can witness General Shao and Reiko’s Bear and Ram Animalities as a fun reference to the upcoming NFL game.
