I’d like to express heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved – each one of you, my coworkers, those working behind the scenes on camera, all the production team, viewers who tune in, and passersby who greet me warmly with a “g’day” and more.
Indeed, these past three years have been quite a rollercoaster ride. A lot has transpired, making it feel as if I’ve been traveling at warp speed. However, the backing I’ve received from News Brekkie and the media as a whole has been simply fantastic.
Heartfelt appreciation! I’m really going to feel its absence, that cozy couch – I won’t miss the jarring alarm, though. But oh, how I’ll miss the couch, it’s been quite the good time!
Michael Rowland, one of his co-hosts, honored Tony by expressing his own sadness following the departure of a beloved figure from the show, who is well-admired by fans.
