The fourth season of Beyond Paradise premiered tonight, and fans were especially thrilled by one scene. An interview between Constable Kelby Hartford, played by Dylan Llewellyn, and Mr. Bevan quickly became a hit online, with many calling it hilarious.

Kelby learned about the surprisingly minor offenses the bookmaker had experienced, like being tapped on the head with a newspaper and, unbelievably, having someone steal his dog’s poop. It’s true – those were actually things that happened to him.

Mr. Bevan got the best line of the episode when he told Kelby—though he kept mistakenly calling him Kelly—that the thief was wearing a tracksuit that was too big and revealing.

He chuckled and said, “Kids these days, right?” Then, jokingly, he added, “With all the facial recognition technology now, you’d have more luck identifying people by their backsides.”

Fans of the detective show loved the comment, and many shared their excitement online. One user posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “We need to see more scenes with this character and Kelly – it’s hilarious!”
