It centers around a fresh class of Starfleet cadets, the first we’ve seen in over a hundred years, as they go through the rigorous training to become officers. The cast is fantastic – a real ensemble piece with some familiar faces like Holly Hunter, Brit Marling, and even Robert Picardo, alongside a bunch of exciting newcomers like Karim Diane, Sandro Rosta, Kerrice Brooks, George Hawkins, and Bella Shepard. Tig Notaro and Oded Fehr round out a seriously strong lineup. It’s a lot of characters, but they all feel integral to the story.
