Starting from December 2023, Top Esports will mark its seventh time participating in the World Championship. Previously, all six of these appearances were made while playing for Edward Gaming, a Chinese team, for nearly a decade.

In addition, Carl Martin Erik “Rekkles” Larsson, a stand-in support player for T1, ranks tenth with seven tournament appearances. Originally from Sweden, he began his career in 2012 as a bot lane player, but transitioned to the support role in 2023 while competing with Fnatic. Later that same year, he moved to T1 Esports Academy and is now part of their roster for the Worlds 2024 tournament.

Instead of representing LNG Esports, Lee “Scout” Ye-chan, their mid-laner, will unfortunately miss the event as he faces travel limitations and won’t be able to make his seventh appearance.

Since his first appearance in 2015, Caps has been representing European teams (with the exception of a three-month stint with the Turkish team Dark Passage in 2016). Joining G2 Esports in 2018, this skilled Danish mid-laner now boasts seven appearances at the Worlds tournament.

He’s navigated multiple competitive circuits, including the League of Legends Master Series (LMS), League of Legends Pro League (LPL), and League Championship Series (LCS). At present, he represents PSG Talon. Notably, Maple has made it to eight World Championships in his career.

As a gamer, I’m proud to represent Team Liquid once again at the World Championship this year, having qualified through this season’s event. Together with his teammate Impact, CoreJJ has now qualified for his eighth appearance in the tournament, earning him a spot at Worlds 2024. 4. Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen

As a devoted fan, I’ve always admired the journey of Jensen, formerly Incarnati0n, who boasts an impressive eight appearances at the World Championships. Before making his mark in North America, he honed his skills with European teams. Since 2015, he has been a valued member of Cloud9, and currently, I cheer for him as he represents Dignitas. Regrettably, he didn’t manage to qualify for Worlds 2024.

3. Yiliang “Peter” “Doublelift” Peng

Doublelift is a renowned figure in the League of Legends scene in North America, having first stepped into competition in 2011. Known for his prowess as a bot lane player, he took breaks from competitive play – once in 2020 and again in 2023 – to focus on streaming full-time instead. His professional career culminated in eight appearances at the League of Legends World Championship.

2. Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu

After spending eleven years on the competition circuit, Deft missed out on qualifying for the Worlds 2024 tournament with his team, KT Rolster.
