Everybody Still Hates Chris

Watch on Comedy Central and Paramount+

If you loved the live-action sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris,” which aired from 2006 to 2009, here’s some exciting news: A new animated series called “Everybody Still Hates Chris” is set to debut this coming week! The show will make its debut on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024 at 10 p.m. ET on Comedy Central. You’ll also be able to stream the episodes on Paramount+.

In the original series, Tyler James Williams portrayed a younger version of the main character, who was narrated by Chris Rock as an older Chris. Now, in this new series, Chris Rock returns as the adult Chris, with Terry Crews playing his father Julius and Tichina Arnold as his mother Rochelle. Both actors lend their voices to their respective animated characters.

In this new version of the comedy, Tim Johnson Jr. takes on the role of young Chris, while Ozioma Akagha portrays his sister Tonya, Terrence Little Gardenhigh plays his brother Drew, and Gunnar Sizemore is cast as Chris’s best friend Greg. Similar to the original, we can expect to follow Chris’s journey growing up as a skinny nerd in a big working-class family from Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, during the late 1980s, as described in the plot summary.
