Aurora announces new roster: Abed and TA2000 join, kiyotaka as streamer

As a long-time follower of the Dota 2 scene and a diehard Aurora fan, I must say that their latest roster shakeup has left me both excited and puzzled! The departure of veterans like 23 and Oli, who were instrumental in Aurora’s impressive run at TI13, is undeniably a loss. However, the arrival of Abed, TA2000, and kaori promises fresh dynamics that could potentially lead to new heights.

It’s been confirmed that Aurora has unveiled its updated team lineup. Previously, players 23 and Oli have departed. In their place, Abed and TA2000 are now part of the roster as new players, while kiyotaka will be joining them as a streamer.

Aurora recently unveiled their updated lineup. Previously, they constructed their team based on the foundation of the previous Talon squad, which resulted in an 7th-8th place standing at The International 2024. Following the tournament’s conclusion, some members decided to part ways with the team.

Three players left Aurora after TI13

At The International 13, Aurora put up a commendable show, securing the 7th-8th position – the highest achievement for any Southeast Asian team in this year. Their lineup consisted of Nuengnara “23”, Artem “lorenof”, Anucha “Jabz”, Worawit “Q”, and Chan “Oli”.

Prior to TI, there had been whispers that player 23 might depart the team after the event. These rumors proved true following the tournament as both 23 and Oli declared their departure on Sep.19, while lorenof went inactive on Sep.20. Subsequently, OG officially welcomed carry player 23 to their roster.

kiyotaka joins Aurora as a streamer

Prior to unveiling the updated team lineup, Aurora disclosed that Kiyotaka had become part of their organization. Initially, fans assumed he’d be our new mid-laner, but his role was clarified in the announcement image – he is joining us as a streamer instead, causing a bit of confusion. The official roster reveal makes it clear that Kiyotaka isn’t signing on as a professional player, but rather as a content creator.
