The next steps for the Wyatt Sicks in WWE

As a lifelong wrestling fan with a particular soft spot for the enigmatic and unpredictable, I find myself utterly intrigued by the latest chapter unfolding in the saga of the Wyatt Sicks. Having followed Bray Wyatt’s transformation from a terrifying entity to the mysterious Uncle Howdy, I can’t help but be captivated by this group’s unique narrative.

Anticipation ran high as the Wyatt Sicks took center stage on Monday Night Raw, following weeks of tantalizing previews. Making their mark, they targeted Chad Gable in a bold move, setting off a series of events involving both groups. Gable subsequently teamed up with former Diamond Mine members to form American Made. However, it’s been about a month since Uncle Howdy bested Gable and two weeks since The Wyatt Sicks prevailed against American Made in a mixed street fight. The question now is “what’s next” for the powerhouse group, and that remains a challenging prediction to make.

The Wyatt family and their associated characters have always presented a complex aspect due to their involvement in professional wrestling and sports entertainment. At its core, these arenas revolve around individuals vying for championship titles. They strive to accumulate rewards, wealth, and the enduring reputation that comes with amassing numerous championships.

WWE often considers itself as a platform for storytelling in wrestling. Yet, characters like Wyatt, whether it’s Bray or Bo (Uncle Howdy), don’t seem driven by the desire to become champions. Instead, Bray was initially focused on creating chaos, while Bo seeks to uphold his brother’s memory by combating those who tarnish the concept of a family.

Though the Wyatt Sick’s recent storyline isn’t about championships, it’s intriguing to consider who their next target might be. Given the current narrative, they could potentially focus on The Way – a group that includes Candice LeRae and Nikki Cross. However, there seems to be tension within The Way as Candice has rejected Nikki Cross joining them, and Dexter Lumis appears to have been sidelined. Despite the fact that The Way is on SmackDown while the Wyatt Sick are on Monday Night Raw, this could easily be resolved with adequate screen time.

However, once more, the same question arises: Are the Wyatt Sicks pursuing championships or merely sowing chaos? What’s their ultimate aim? WWE needs to clarify this narrative, especially as they strive for a more sports-oriented portrayal. These are the mysteries that Triple H will need to unravel to keep fans engaged with the Wyatt Sicks.
