As a longtime fan of these captivating series and films, it’s truly exhilarating to witness such exciting developments! The addition of Joe Manganiello as Crocodile and Lera Abova as Nico Robin in One Piece feels like a dream come true for me. I can almost hear the “Gomu Gomu no Bazooka” now!

Each Sunday, we recap the top stories from WinterIsComing.net for the past week. This particular week saw us release one of our most significant and impressive pieces ever published on the site. Let me introduce: our exclusive interview with the author of ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ and creator of ‘Game of Thrones’, George R.R. Martin!

Apart from Martin, we also chatted with his long-term creative partner Raya Golden. Their current joint venture is a graphic novel titled “Voyaging“, which is based on Martin’s 1986 novella “The Plague Star“. We caught up with Golden to discuss the future of this graphic novel series, as well as the origins of its creation. During our conversation, we reminisced about one of Martin’s most disturbing tales, “Meathouse Man” – a journey through memory lane.

There’s another spin-off of “The Witcher” being developed, and here’s when you can expect to see it! Take a look at the new trailer for “Sirens of the Deep”:

Last week, George R.R. Martin openly criticized “House of the Dragon.” As a die-hard fan who appreciates his work as the original author, it’s a bit disheartening to see this. Now, HBO is grappling with the repercussions of his comments.

I have an opinion on the Wicked movie, which is that splitting it into two movies is nonsense. Here’s why:

This week, “The Penguin” made its debut on both HBO and Max! Here’s our comprehensive, spoiler-free assessment of the series. It’s an exceptional television production that we highly recommend.

Additionally, we delved deeply into the initial episode of “The Penguin” series. If you’re interested in further exploration in Gotham, this could be a great starting point for you.

This week, as HBO aired “The Penguin”, Marvel began its haunting season by premiering a double episode of “Agatha All Along” on Disney+.

We’ll never pass up an opportunity to talk about Interview With The Vampire, one of the best shows on TV right now:

This week was known as Netflix’s Geeked Week, implying a multitude of fresh updates. Excitingly, production on season 2 of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” has commenced! Moreover, the cherished character Toph has been cast in the series.

The popular series “One Piece” is broadening its character lineup! Actor Joe Manganiello has been cast as Mr. 0, or Crocodile, and actress Lera Abova will portray Miss All Sunday, also known as Nico Robin. Additionally, we’ve caught our first peek at the charming reindeer character Tony Tony Chopper.

Squid Game season 2 got a new teaser as well! It premieres on Netflix on December 26:

Additionally, let me share that we have received the timetable for the second and concluding season of the Emmy-winning animated series Arcane, which is produced by Netflix and is connected to the League of Legends video game.

We’ll wrap up with a few more exclusive interviews! The highly anticipated second season of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” is underway, and we had the chance to chat with actor Lloyd Owen about his character Elendil. Discover how Elendil manages the political strife in Númenor and whether there’s a chance he might end up with Queen Regent Tar-Míriel!

We also spoke with The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon writer Laura Snow about Daryl’s journey and creating the show’s second season, which premieres this week:

Besides speaking with George R.R. Martin, we also experienced his work during the Glasgow Worldcon last month by watching short films he created based on Howard Waldrop’s works: “Night of the Cooters”, “Mary Margaret Road-Grader”, and “The Ugly Chickens”. We’d love to share our personal thoughts about them.
