The BRIT Awards confirms 2025 date

As a music enthusiast who has been attending BRIT Awards since the early 2000s, it’s always a thrill to see this iconic event coming back each year. The anticipation builds as we wait for the host and performers to be announced, and the suspense is almost unbearable!

The BRIT Awards has confirmed its air date for 2025.

On Saturday, March 1st, the annual event honoring the best in popular music will return to ITV1 and ITVX. For another year, the festivities will take place at the O2 Arena in London.

The host has not been announced at the current time, nor have the performers.

In his role as managing director and president of promotions at Atlantic Records, Damian Christian is currently serving as the chairman for the BRIT Committee. This means that he will oversee the organization and execution of the awards show this year.

Once more, it is an honor to preside over The BRITs for what will be my last time, he stated. I am filled with pride at the advancements we’ve made and the successes we’ve achieved during the past few years, and I can’t wait to bring things to a grand finale in March.

Ensuring we maintained our Saturday evening booking was our top concern, and with it secured, we are determined to create a show next year that will be remembered for centuries!

Over the past few years, Jack Whitehall has hosted the show four times consecutively. Following this, for two years running, Mo Gilligan took over as the host for The Masked Singer UK. Last year, the presenting duties were shared among Clara Amfo, Maya Jama, and Roman Kemp at the ceremony.

Previously, Raye surpassed previous records as the most nominated artist in BRIT Awards history with seven nominations, overtaking artists such as Robbie Williams, Craig David, and Gorillaz (each receiving six nominations in a single year). On that particular night, she won six awards, breaking yet another record.

During last year’s event, characters Diane and Ross Carson from The Traitors series, donned their famous green cloaks from the program.
