In a recent interview on the podcast All the Fails, the 48-year-old actor opened up about his personal life, discussing aspects of his relationship.
He shared with host Jenny Mollen that he’s currently associated with a 29-year-old social media representative, but it’s still in the beginning stages.
He mentioned that when his girlfriend (who wasn’t named) stays overnight, his dog understands without a doubt that she is on the floor.
Approximately five months have passed since the affectionate couple was noticed exchanging a fervent kiss while taking McCall’s pet for a walk in Los Angeles.
He made a joke about his dog by saying, “She spends most of her time on the floor these days,” suggesting that his significant other stays over quite frequently.
In a different part of their face-to-face discussion, this well-known figure from Hollywood expressed that he tends to keep a low profile when in the public spotlight.
Prior to his relationship with Sajak, he had been previously engaged to actresses Jennifer Love Hewitt in 2007 and Alessandra Mastronardi in 2021.
Addressing the former engagements, he reflected that sometimes ‘things don’t work out.’
Reflecting on past relationships, he acknowledged that they left him feeling broken-hearted every time. He values partnership deeply but finds handling losses challenging. It seemed as if he had lost a piece of himself each time.
The star clarified, ‘I don’t feel that I lost in like a competitive way.’
McCall maintains that he has no resentment or negative emotions towards his former partners, as they have all moved forward by getting married.
In the year 2013, Hewitt tied the knot with Brian Hallisay, and they are now parents to three beautiful kids. On the other hand, Mastronardi exchanged vows with Gianpaolo Sannino in 2023.
The actor from Band of Brothers described himself as someone who is deeply romantic at heart, yet he downplayed the label of being a womanizer, stating that it might not always be accurate.
Furthermore, he noted that ‘partnership’ is ‘a big deal’ to him.
He mentioned that we’ve grown a bit older, don’t you think? That means we’ve gained some wisdom and experienced relationships along the way.
