On Thursday, Melanie Griffith was spotted in the Larchmont area of Los Angeles, accompanied by her daughter Stella Banderas, who is 27 years old.
The mother and daughter duo have a lot to celebrate, as Stella recently got engaged to her childhood sweetheart Alex Gruszynski.
In a v-neck black sweater and snug-fitting jeans, secured by a black belt, the actress from The Working Girl appeared healthy and stylish at 67, wearing jeans that showed signs of regular use.
A black crossbody handbag and chic sunglasses completed the Bonfire of the Vanities actress’ look.
On a delightfully warm day in Southern California, the two ladies took care of Stella’s pets (dogs), while also carrying their shopping bags.
Melanie divides custody of Stella with her former spouse, Antonio Banderas, whom she started dating in 1996 while working together on the film Two Much.
They married and welcomed Stella that same year.
Later on, Melanie played a significant part in the 1999 film directing debut of Antonio Banderas, titled “Crazy in Alabama.” This movie marked the initial screen appearance of Stella as well.
She filed for divorce from Antonio in June 2014 after 18 years of marriage.
Melanie has a daughter who shares half of her genetic makeup with both Alexander Bauer and Dakota Johnson. This connection stems from Melanie’s past marriages to Steven Bauer and Don Johnson.
Despite having divorced six years back, they’ve maintained a strong bond. Antonio, aged 61, expresses that Melanie will forever hold a special place in his life due to the beautiful years they spent together and the wonderful daughter, Stella, they share.
Don and Melanie were married for six months in 1976 and again from 1989 to 1994.
The actor famed for Nash Bridges is experiencing a professional renaissance, with roles in Netflix’s Rebel Ridge and Hulu’s Doctor Odyssey. Lately, he’s been looking back on his past glory during the 1980s, when he shone brightly in Miami Vice.

‘I had to isolate. The [women] know where you are. We had security 24/7. One day, I reflected on Elvis and thought, “Isn’t this kind of the way Elvis lived and died?”
‘Although I’m not saying I’m on par with Elvis, his struggle with maintaining a personal life is something I’ve taken note of. To prevent my own life from becoming too restrictive, I’ve learned to manage it effectively.’
Previously, he had concerns that extended beyond merely his overzealous followers; he also feared being stereotyped as Sonny Crockett from Miami Vice.
He expressed that his aim at the time was to move beyond always being Sonny Crockett, recognizing the potential pitfalls for actors who are overly tied to their roles. He desired to distinguish himself from Sonny so audiences could eventually perceive him as diverse characters.
But 40 years later, he’s grateful for the exposure – and fame – the role brought him.
‘It’s the 40th anniversary of Miami Vice this year, and hey, I’m still here,’ he said, chuckling.
Regarding the overly enthusiastic female admirers, the actor commented, “Fame is a state of being,” further explaining, “However, it’s fleeting.
