Apartment 7A (Sept. 27)

  • Director: Natalie Erika James
  • Story by: Skylar James
  • Starring: Julia Garner, Dianne Wiest, Kevin McNally, and Jim Sturgess

In a reimagining of the 1968 horror masterpiece “Rosemary’s Baby”, the narrative of “Apartment 7A” unfolds, focusing on Terry Gionoffrio (played by Garner), a young and promising dancer whose career is suddenly halted by a severe injury. With no other options, she gratefully accepts an offer from an affluent elderly pair to reside in the opulent Bramford building in New York City.

In Apartment 7A, viewers will delve into the truth behind Terry’s mysterious death, which occurred in the basement laundry room after his encounter with Rosemary Woodhouse. The story will unfold as Terry becomes increasingly involved with Minnie (Wiest) and Roman Castevet (McNally), characters known for their relentless pursuit of bringing forth the Antichrist.

Apartment 7A will be available to purchase digitally on the same day.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Kreepaway Kamp (Oct. 10)

In honor of its 25th year, the beloved cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants is airing a lengthy special episode. However, they find themselves being pursued by an ominous “creep” who starts vanishing the campers one after another.

A Quiet Place: Day One (2024)

  • Writer/Director: Michael Sarnoski
  • Cast: Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Djimon Hounsou, and Alex Wolff

Stepping into the gripping world of “A Quiet Place” once more, I find myself transported back to the very first day of an alien onslaught that’s left humanity scrambling for survival. Contrary to its number in the series, “Day One” is not a sequel but a prequel, offering a chilling glimpse into events that unfolded before the Abbott family’s harrowing journey.

The story centers on Lupita Nyong’o’s character, Sam, a terminally ill woman living in hospice care in New York City when the alien invasion occurs, resulting in absolute chaos and carnage as monsters ravage the city. Though the monsters are blind, they have an extraordinarily keen sense of hearing, making them especially dangerous to anyone who cannot remain quiet. Even the slightest hiccup could lead to an instantaneous death. Sam meets another survivor, Eric (Quinn), and the pair tries to make their way to safety while staying silent.

All three A Quiet Place films are now streaming on Paramount+.
