
As a lifelong fan of British television, I am deeply saddened by the passing of David Graham, the voice behind some of my childhood favorites. His distinctive cockney accent and his ability to bring life to characters like Grandpa Pig, Aloysius Parker, and even the evil Daleks will forever be etched in my memory.
Peppa Pig’s voice actor David Graham has died aged 99.
Most recognized for lending his voice to Grandpa Pig in the popular children’s TV series, he also voiced Aloysius Parker, the ’60s Thunderbirds‘ butler. His talent extended to appearing in the highly regarded movie follow-ups as well.
As a connoisseur of all things lifestyle-related, I am deeply saddened to share the news that the iconic voice actor, David Graham, has passed away. Known for his exceptional work with Gerry Anderson on Thunderbirds, he leaves behind an indelible mark in the realm of entertainment.
Here at Anderson Entertainment, we’ve been fortunate to have the companionship of David, whose voices included Parker, Gordon Tracy, Brains, among others. He was a cherished friend to us all. We will deeply mourn your absence, dear David. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to you, David’s loved ones.
His cause of death has not been revealed.
I can’t get enough of that unique, charming Cockney twang of David’s! His character, a blend of loyalty and mischief, has undeniably become one of my all-time favorites in the show – it never fails to captivate me.


Known mainly for his voiceover roles, Graham has also made appearances on several British TV shows. His repertoire spans across genres including dramas, comedies, and crime series like ‘The Saint’ and ‘The Avengers’.
Also in the 60s and 70s he was used as the voice behind the evil Daleks in Doctor Who.
In his renowned portrayal as Grandpa Pig, his on-screen character wedded Granny Pig and was the parent of both Mummy Pig and Aunt Dottie.
David continued to work well into his later years.
He reprised his role as Parker in Thurderbirds, the CGI-animated reboot of the classic series that premiered in 2015.
His long-term participation in the production, spanning several decades, underscores the enduring influence of his memorable character creations.
Following the announcement of his death, tributes and messages of condolence poured in online.

Apart from his thriving professional life, he was also recognized as the voice behind the Wise Old Elf and Mr. Gnome in Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom, a popular children’s show that airs on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom.
Additionally, he made short cameos on shows such as Coronation Street (ITV), The Bill, London’s Burning, and both Doctor (BBC) and Casualty (BBC).
