The individual is requested to evaluate their level of interest towards each option and respond to a few additional queries about their preferred choices from among the group.
According to the survey, the Sims team isn’t making any promises about particular themes, features, or aspects as of now. The feedback you provide will help them decide which concepts are most popular, what needs improvement, and what might need to be removed.
We have summarised the nine expansion pitches below:
• Scenario: Happens in a remote, alien-like, harsh environment where society has crumbled. Characters need to adapt and endure, cooperating for prosperity.
• Contemporary Monarchy: Establish your enduring influence by owning magnificent properties, engaging in strategic power plays, and adorning yourself with opulent attire. In the game, characters can ascend from being a commoner to ruling the kingdom, form bonds, and deal with royal feuds.
• Cyberpunk: Set in a fantastical, post-apocalyptic universe, this genre features the interaction of humans and artificial intelligence, exploring intricate connections, all while advanced technology is utilized for personal advancement.
On the open highway, Sims have the opportunity to personalize their travel RV and embark on a journey. Along the way, they can discover breathtaking landscapes, interact with locals through trading, and enhance their mechanical expertise. It also offers an immersive, multi-generational tale that enriches their experience.
• A lively “marine wonderland”, brimming with secret riches yet unearthed and centered around aquatic creatures. Players can engage in diving expeditions and sea journeys, sailing amid picturesque coastal villages.
• Criminal Activity: Occurs in a “rough urban setting” where Sims can engage as con artists, mafia leaders, or crime-prevention vigilantes. Decide your own course of action, from petty theft and surveillance to underhanded deals and daring robberies.
Set in a retro-styled environment reminiscent of the ’80s or ’90s, this game offers a lively shopping mall as its backdrop. Here, players can indulge in traditional pastimes and distinctive plotlines that carry a nostalgic allure, creating an engaging experience.
At the camp, children have the opportunity to explore novel interests, unravel camp mysteries, and establish friendships that last a lifetime. The setting encompasses beautiful landscapes with beaches, lakes, and rivers.
In the past, Sims could traverse “ancient coastal terrains” and discover “fossils from prehistoric times and marine life as well as other fascinating natural phenomena.
The survey confirms EA and Maxis’ commitment to supporting The Sims 4 for years to come.
It seems that there aren’t any current plans for a traditional sequel to the game, as EA executive Kate Gorman has mentioned that a fifth numbered game may not be produced.
In the series, there’s a standalone game called Project Rene, which emphasizes multiplayer interactions and offers a dynamic, real-time social setting.
