As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the tale of Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner’s property lettings company is both intriguing and slightly amusing. It seems that even with a combined net worth of £70 million, managing a property business can be a tricky endeavor. However, it’s heartening to see that their horse-racing firm, OMBI Ltd, appears to be thriving. The £600,000 spending spree last year has certainly paid off, with the company making a profit and their horses, named after Geri’s solo career hits, performing admirably on the racetrack.

Despite their combined wealth of approximately £70 million, Geri Halliwell and her husband Christian Horner’s rental business is experiencing financial losses.

As a dedicated lifestyle aficionado, I’m excited to share that in the year 2021, the iconic Spice Girl, now 51, and the dynamic Red Bull boss, both 50 at the time, joined forces to establish our esteemed property company, named Estelle Ward.

However, the company they jointly manage has reported a loss of £53,000 for the second consecutive year in their financial records.

Fortunately, for this duo, their wealth is relatively minor compared to their earnings. Geri, a pop music sensation, boasts a net worth of approximately £33 million, while Christian, a successful motor racer, has amassed around £41 million.

The duo isn’t entirely struggling with business matters, because their racing company, OMBI Ltd, is thriving quite well.

Last year, the business underwent a £600,000 expenditure wave, and as recently disclosed in newly released financial reports this week, its profits have tripled as a result.

According to the records, the couple spent approximately £137,000 on biological resources, £280,000 on real estate, and £187,000 on automobiles, reducing their total assets to slightly under £1 million.

It seems that the investment has proven fruitful for them, as OMBI managed to generate a profit, boosting their retained earnings to an impressive £220,000, marking a significant increase from the previous year’s £69,000.

The business operation of the company, which is jointly owned by Geri and Christian, is categorized as ‘racehorse ownership activities’.

Instead of having their racehorses named with numbers, this pair has chosen to rename each one after songs from Geri Halliwell’s solo discography, such as “Look at Mee”, “Lift Me Up”, “Mi Chico Latino”, and “It’s Raining Men”.

Eight-year-old horse named Hector, also recognized as Lift Me Up, achieved his debut victory at Newbury racecourse last year, marking one of his many triumphs.

The British Horseracing Authority reports that he successfully won a race with an audience of 70,000 spectators, earning him £2,361.18 in prize money as his winnings.

Originally priced at an impressive £28,000 and slated as a likely contender for the Cheltenham Festival in March, unfortunately, he didn’t end up participating.

That very same month, Christian and Geri were seen attending a point-to-point race, where their gelding emerged victorious, placing first.

In January, it was disclosed that Hope, now known as Look At Mee (a reference to the singer’s 1999 hit), participated in her initial race and ended up placing fifth.

All of the couple’s horses run under the ‘GHR’ banner, which stands for Geri Horner Racing.

2015 was when I became a part of this amazing duo’s journey. Since then, every passing year has been a rollercoaster, but the one that just ended brought us an overwhelming success after a challenging stretch of months. Despite the hardships we faced, the resilience and unity they displayed were truly inspiring to me, their biggest fan.

In February, it emerged that Christian had sent inappropriate text messages to a female employee.

In her mid-forties, the woman approached the Human Resources department at the Formula One racing team following receipt of messages from Christian, frequently sent during late hours.

She accused him of ‘coercive behaviour’ but an internal inquiry chaired by an unknown KC appointed by Red Bull cleared him. Christian has strongly denied any wrongdoing.

In the midst of ongoing turmoil, the person being accused has been temporarily removed from duty. This action has ignited outrage among advocacy groups who express concerns that women do not feel assured that their complaints will receive thorough investigation.
