As a diehard Oasis fan from way back, I’ve been through it all – the highs, the lows, and everything in between. So when the rumors started swirling about their potential return to Knebworth in 2026, my heart skipped a beat faster than Liam’s during “Live Forever.” But alas, it seems those dreams were just that – dreams. Liam and Noel have officially shut down any speculation of a Knebworth comeback. As I stepped out for Milan Fashion Week’s spring/summer show by Antonio Marras on Wednesday, I found myself perfectly at ease with the laid-back vibe I exuded.

Gene recently arrived in Milan, following his presence at London Fashion Week. On Monday, he attended the Burberry show alongside his half-siblings Lennon and Molly, as well as his cousin Anais, the daughter of Noel Gallagher (age 57).
Liam has a child named Gene, which he shares with his second former spouse, Nicole Appleton from All Saints, whom he started dating in 2000 and married in 2008. However, they separated in 2014 after Liam’s infidelity with Liza Ghorbani.
He has son Lennon with his former wife, actress Patsy Kensit, while he also has daughter Molly with Lisa Moorish, a singer whom he began an affair with just two months after marrying Patsy.
Last week, Liam disclosed the party who initiated the steps to mend the 15-year rift between him and his brother Noel.
Since the breakup of their band Oasis in 2009, the brothers had not exchanged words. Notably, Noel stated, “I couldn’t stand another day working with Liam.
In August, I was thrilled to learn from Liam and Noel themselves that Oasis would be reuniting for a series of stadium shows in the year 2025.
On X, which was previously known as Twitter, Liam discussed the origins of the reunion talks.
He tweeted in response to a fan: ‘I called him but don’t tell anyone as I do t wont folk thinking I’m a soft lad and stuffs keep it between me n you cheers x (sic).’
Eager to seize every chance, Liam didn’t resist the urge to make a dig at their long-standing foes, Blur, during his latest bout of tweeting.
He wrote: ‘Blur we’re on there way out until we came along and made them relevant by giving them s*** if it wasn’t for us they’d have been dropped (sic).’
After debunking speculations about a possible return to Knebworth in 2026, following the addition of additional dates to their much-awaited reunion tour, Oasis has put an end to the rumors.
30 years from now, performances at the renowned North Hertfordshire venue would have occurred, marking three decades since the rock band gave two sell-out shows back in 1996.
Instead, Liam and Noel clarified on X, previously known as Twitter, that they squashed any speculations about a Knebworth performance.
Contradicting certain UK tabloids, it has been confirmed that Oasis will not perform at Knebworth Park in the future.
‘There are no plans for any further UK dates beyond the currently announced UK stadium tour.’
In the course of the social media discussion, Liam appeared to entertain his fans while seemingly downplaying the Oasis ticket controversy.
When a fan inquired about the amount he’d be willing to spend to witness his all-time favorite band, The Beatles, he responded: “I’d probably pay $80, if necessary.
The total amount collected from ticket sales for Oasis concerts, which initially cost £148 per ticket during the pre-sale, is significantly lower than the £355 some fans actually ended up paying after the implementation of dynamic pricing.
In response to fan complaints about ticket problems, Oasis has revealed plans for two additional concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium next summer.
They were made available to all those who missed out on tickets in the original sale.
Dissatisfied spectators were provided an opportunity to join a lottery, with the goal of being chosen to purchase tickets for the two performances.
Next year looks set to be a significant family event for us, since Liam’s son Gene, who is his third child, is likely to join Oasis for their first 10 performances.
Gene, much like his half-brother Lennon, bears a strong resemblance to their shared father, serves as the frontman in the rock group Villanelle.
