First look at Oscar Isaac’s hair transformation for Netflix’s Frankenstein movie

As a lifelong fan of both classic literature and cinematic masterpieces, I can hardly contain my excitement over Oscar Isaac’s latest role in Netflix’s Frankenstein adaptation! The photos of his dramatic hair transformation have only served to fuel my anticipation for this highly-anticipated film.

Actor Oscar Isaac, known for his roles in “Star Wars” and “Moon Knight,” is at present shooting Netflix’s adaptation of “Frankenstein.” Check out these images showcasing the significant change in his hairstyle for the part.

In this recent version of Mary Shelley’s classic novel, Isaac takes on the role of Dr. Victor Frankenstein, and the images reveal him sporting large sideburns and a substantial mass of curly hair at the back of his head.

Apart from his eccentricities as a scientist, he carries an air of sophistication with his sleek black pinstriped suit, long coat, and oversized fedora.

The movie also stars MaXXXine‘s Mia Goth as love interest Elizabeth Lavenza, while Saltburn‘s Jacob Elordi is playing Frankenstein’s monster (replacing Andrew Garfield in the role).

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that the star-studded lineup in this game features Christoph Waltz, best known for his role in Spectre. We also have Felix Kammerer, who stole the show in All Quiet on the Western Front. Not to be outshone, Lars Mikkelsen from Ahsoka is joining us too. And if you’re a fan of Game of Thrones, you’ll recognize David Bradley. Last but not least, the young and talented Christian Convery from Sweet Tooth will also be part of our gaming adventure!

Guillermo del Toro has been given the task of directing this upcoming movie, which has been a cherished dream of his for quite some time. As far back as 2009, he had openly shared his ambition to bring a Frankenstein film to life.

Ever since I was a kid, ‘Frankenstein’ has been a book close to my heart, one of those stories that shaped my personal mythology. I can’t express enough how eager I am to bring this iconic monster to life in a game.” He shared this sentiment on Radio 5 Live.

Whether I take action five or six years from now doesn’t matter to me. Every person gets only one chance at such actions, so I prefer not to make a mistake in my approach.

Currently, Isaac is set to appear in the second installment of Netflix’s popular comedy series Beef, and also in a vampire thriller titled Flesh of the Gods. This upcoming project features Kristen Stewart as his co-star.

Netflix’s Frankenstein doesn’t currently have a release date.
