Train Sim World 5 is Available via Xbox Game Pass Now Alongside a Free Starter Pack

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the announcement of Train Sim World 5 has filled me with unbridled enthusiasm. My love for virtual trains started way back with the first iterations of this series, and to see it evolve into what it is today brings a nostalgic smile to my face.

Dovetail Games has unveiled that Train Sim World 5, this year’s addition to the Train Sim World franchise, is already out and accessible on Xbox Game Pass from its first day of release.

As an enthusiastic player, I’m thrilled about the latest addition to Train Sim World! It’s packed with exciting new gameplay elements, one of which is the Conductor Mode that lets me take on duties like checking tickets, managing doors, and ensuring the aisles are clear of bags. The AI handles the train driving aspects. This immersive mode is accessible across three primary routes, and it’s complemented by ‘Route Hopping’, a feature that facilitates smooth transitions between different routes within a shared location.

This implies that you can savor non-stop gameplay for up to 200 miles, spanning three extra route options. The game initially includes the Frankfurt route with Germany’s high-speed, tilting ICE-T engine; London and the British West Coast Main Line (with Wembley Watford and Milton Keynes available in the Deluxe Edition, featuring the Avantiu West Coast Pendolino); and the Los Angeles Metrolink MP36PH-3C powered by biofuel in the USA.

Train Sim World 5 has been released on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One (including through Game Pass), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC! Enjoy a complimentary Starter Pack that includes the Training Center ‘test track’ route and four trains, available until October 17th.
