Doctor Who season 15 casts Good Wife star

With Archie Panjabi joining the cast as a villain and Charlie Condou, Jonah Hauer-King, and Millie Gibson rounding out the lineup, this upcoming season is shaping up to be one for the ages.
The Good Wife star Archie Panjabi is joining the cast of Doctor Who.
As reported by Deadline, actress Prajakta Kuniyal (known as Panjabi) has been selected to portray a villain in the upcoming 15th season of the popular sci-fi series. She will be joining stars Ncuti Gatwa, Millie Gibson, and new cast member Varada Sethu in this exciting new season.
At this point, more information about the actress’s role is kept confidential. The BBC hasn’t shared any comments regarding her selection yet.
Archana Panjabi is predominantly recognized for portraying the character Kalinda Sharma throughout six seasons of the show “The Good Wife,” garnering her three Emmy Award nominations, including her first win in 2010 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Currently, the lead actor is appearing in the Apple TV+ show “Hijack” together with Idris Elba. Additionally, you can find him in “Under the Bridge,” a series on Hulu, where he acts alongside Lily Gladstone and Riley Keough.
This month, it became known that actor Charlie Condou, previously on “Coronation Street,” is now part of the “Doctor Who” cast, although the specifics of his character have not been revealed yet.
From 2007 to 2014, I took on the role of Marcus Dent, the sonographer, in the ITV soap opera. Fast forward a few years, and from 2019 to 2020, I found myself stepping into the shoes of surgeon Ben Sherwood on Holby City.

Last month, Millie Gibson revealed some news during an interview about her character Ruby’s storyline in season 15, speaking with Collider: “This is unusual because The Doctor usually travels alone, and it has never been shown before what happens to a companion afterwards. I think it’s fascinating and smartly done. It’s like going on adventures with The Doctor, then coming back to reality and dealing with the aftermath. It was an odd sensation.
